Governor Bracket Cam Gear for. 1-1/2HP or 2HP Fairbanks Morse. Throttle Gov’d Gas Engine. Governor is in good condition and ready to use. Cast iron bracket stamped ZAA37A. Takes AB33 or AB34 magneto 2 3/16 center to center for magneto locator pins. 3 1/2 center to center engine mounting holes. Clamps mount 3 7/8 apart – one post is broken off in the hole and will need removed – see photos. Gear has 50 straight teeth and 5 diameter part no. I do my best to describe each item. Original Very Rare Brass & Cast Iron IHC International McCormick Deering Model LA / LB 1 1/2 -2 1/2 HP Hit Miss Gas Engine Throttle Governor Assembly. Very rare original IHC LA LB governor set has brass gear with cast iron weights and a cast iron lever on the governor control inside lever. Out of over 100 parted out LA LB engines this is only the 3rd set I have ever found. This is for the late model LA or all model LBs as it has the speed lever. Comes with the throttle control rod, throttle shaft and governor control speed lever comes with mounting bolt and the side plate spring loaded pin for controlling the inside lever for speed control. It has the square connector that fits between the throttle shaft and the butterfly shaft in the head. No cracks welds or repairs. Nice shape from a parted out LB from an IHC collectors estate. For use on a 3-6 HP Fairbanks Morse “Z” throttle governed engine. Cast Iron Bracket Part No. Takes AB33 or AB34 magneto and mounts 2 3/16 center to center. 4 7/16 center to center 2 bolt engine mounting – area around the mounting holes has been repaired. Cast iron gear has 70 straight teeth that are 3/4 wide. Gear has 7 1/8 diameter. BRACKET HAS A SOLID REPAIR – SEE PHOTOS. Please feel free to call me with questions.
