This is a very nice original 12 inch clutch type pulley for a cream separator, corn sheller, grinder, or other piece of belt driven machinery. It is in excellent, slightly used condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It has most of it’s original paint and pinstriping on it yet as can be seen. It measures about 12 inches in diameter with a 2 1/2 inch face. It has a 3/4 inch bore and room enough to bore it larger if needed. Everything seems to work as it should. This type of pulley allows the used to leave the engine belted up to the implement without removing the belt. It is also large enough to run the implement at a low speed with a small pulley on the engine basically replacing the hand crank on the implement. It uses a handscrew to put pressure from the wooden blocks to the cast iron clutch disc. These clutches are extremely tough to find in the wild ore even at swap meets! This one is ready to be put to work on an engine or put into your inventory for a future project. The pictures tell the story. I can deliver it for free (or a cold beverage) to Coolspring, PA, Baraboo, WI, or Portland, IN, engine shows, swap meets, or several auctions I attend later this year. You’ll like it. I can always be reached at 262 573 1931 if you’d like to talk about it.
