Head for 2 1/2HP or 3 1/2HP Hercules, Economy, Jaeger or Arco. 3 1/4 mounting apart on center. 1 1/4 NPT exhaust. Valves and springs not included. Original condition with no breaks, cracks or welds. This is an original cylinder head with valves for a 4 or 5hp Fuller Johnson N or K gas engine. It is about 8 1/8 inches in diameter and the part that goes into the cylinder is about 4 11/16 inches in diameter. It mounts with 6 holes 3 1/4 inches apart on center. It is part number 4N3 It is in excellent condition except for a crack on the edge and face which I have pointed out. This should be a pretty easy repair by welding, brazing, or stitching. It has the original valves, springs, and keepers as can be seen. The valves move as they should with seemingly very little wear and other than the crack repair this head should be ready to be used on an engine. The pictures tell the story. These original cylinder heads are quite tough to find so if you’ve been looking for one don’t miss your chance on this one. It would also make a great spare on the shelf. For your consideration is an original HEAD with VALVES for 2-1/2hp & 3-1/2hp HERCULES or ECONOMY Hit Miss, Old stationary Gas Engines. It has a 1″NPT intake port and 1-1/4″ NPT exhaust port which have good threads, there is a small mark in the exhaust thread but it won’t effect sealing. The rocker arm stands have not been repaired as can be seen in the pics, and neither has the pushrod guide. The head does have a crack on the top side which is hard to notice. The valves & seats may need lapped, both are moving. The mounting bolts are about 3-1/4 apart on centers. About 6-7/8 diameter outside head circle. It has blue green paint on it paint. Here is a nice original head for an Associated Chore Boy or United equivalent engine. Please check the measurements to make sure it is what you need. The valve heads and seats look great. The valves also feel good in their guides and only a small amount wear can be felt. For questions 419 789 1159. Very hard part to find. The mounting hole pattern is 4-7/8″ x 4-7/8″ measured across from each other. The carb mounts with 2 holes about 2-1/8 apart on center. 1 pipe for exhaust. No cracks, breaks, or welds that I can see or know of. Most items will go out faster though. I have many good parts and pieces I will be listing in the next few months. I try to do a very good job of listing everything I sell in a very accurate manner to explain all the good and bad points with the pictures and in the description. So if someone doesn’t pay I will ban them from my listings and also tell all my friends who also sell engine parts on here who to watch out for. For your consideration is an original International Harvester, IHC, McCormick Deering 1-1/2hp model M Spark Plug style cylinder Head for a Hit Miss stationary style Engine. The 1/2″ mounting holes are 4″ on center the raised valve area that goes into the cylinder bore is 3-5/8″, the 1-1/4″NPT exhaust elbow threads are good. The spark plug threads appear fine, the throttle shaft butterfly is in good condition and spring loaded as it should be with minimal wear movement. The valves are free, and gave minimal play in the guides, they may need lapped in or refreshing but that’s your call after receiving it not mine. Here is a very nice and very hard to find unbroken head for about a 5hp to 6hp Alamo, Empire, or Rock Island engine. There are no cracks, breaks, or welds. The valves and seat look and feel great. There is only very minimal wear. Check out the pictures and see if you need it. Probably fits a 5hp to 6hp size engine. The mounting bolt hole pattern 4-3/4″ x 4-3/4″. About 8-1/4 in diameter. Very nice valves, only very minimal wear. 2 hole for carb mounting. Exhaust threads look great. Looks good inside the water jacket area. This is an original cylinder head for a Sparta Economy hit and miss gas engine. I believe it is for a 4hp engine but please do your homework to be sure it will work for you. It mounts with 5 holes on an irregular bolt pattern. Most are 3 1/2 inches apart on center. The valves are stuck and the rocker arm has a very old repair. The head itself appears to be in good shape with no cracks, breaks, or repairs. With a little TLC this could be a very usable piece and it would certainly be easier than making one!
