Here is an original head 3hp IHC vertical Famous hit and miss engine. The valves look in and feel perfect, there doesn’t seem to be any wear for the valves in their guides. No cracks, breaks, or welds that I can see or know of. Check out the pictures and see if you need it. For questions 419 789 1159. Valves don’t seem to have any wear. Cylinder head from a 3HP Associated hit & Miss engine. I believe it’ll fit a United engine of similar HP. Research and measure up your engine before purchasing! Rocker arm stand has a old repair done to it, looks like a hefty strong repair that could probably be cleaned up a bit to make look more presentable. I don’t see any other breaks/cracks. Good 1 1/4 exhaust threads. Carburetor mounting hole spacing measures 2 3/4 apart on centers. Pushrod holder bolt hole spacing is 1 3/4 apart on centers. The 4 holes that hold the head to your block are spaced 4 1/4 apart from one another. Valves are not stuck and I believe with a simple lap job they should seat great. See pictures for the absolute best description. I believe with some minor work and tlc this head will make someone a good part!

Here is a head for a 6hp IHC M igniter style engine. There are no freeze breaks, cracks, or welds that I can see or know of. The exhaust valve guide is slightly chipped on the inside, that guide is long so I do not think it would hurt it in any way. The guides are also replaceable so it could be changed out if you wanted. Obviously it is missing its valves and springs. The stud on the throttle is a little loose but should work fine, some loctite would tighten it up. Head specifically removed from a throttle governed 3Hp Fairbanks Morse Z spark plug engine. This head has a freeze crack and will need repaired before being installed! Valves are loose and move freely, for best results a quick lapping and clean job would probably be a good idea! Original part number ZBA5. The 4 head mounting holes are spaced 4 1/4 apart from each other on centers. The carburetor mounting holes are 3 3/16 apart on centers. Keep in mind this item is old and used and will require some work before being able to be put to work! Please see pictures for the absolute best description!

Mounts to engine with 4 bolts 5 7/8 apart on center. 2 3/8 center to center carb mounting holes. The exhaust valve will move but is tight – spring looks good. The intake valve is loose and will need a new spring. The fuel saver spring could stand to be replaced. No breaks, cracks or welds that I see – some pitting along the bottom of the head due to age and use and a casting flaw by the carb mounting. Please feel free to call me with questions. Up for sale is a head specifically from a 2HP tagged Dishpan throttle governed engine. I do not see any breaks, repairs, or cracks. The valves are loose, and would probably be a good idea to give them a quick lap in job/cleaning before installing. Good threads on both the spark plug. Exhaust port is 1 NPT. The carburetor bolt hole spacing is 2 1/4 on centers. The 4 holes that are on the head that mount to your engine block are spaced 3 1/2 apart. Keep in mind this item is used and almost 100 years old. It shows wear and years of usage. See pictures for the absolute best description.

This is an original cylinder head with valves for a Waterloo or contract hit and miss gas engine. I believe it is for a 4hp engine and is in good condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of except for two cracks which I’ve pointed out which should be a pretty straightforward repair. It mounts on a 4″ square hole pattern and the step that goes into the cylinder is about 4 1/4″ in diameter. All of the threads are in great shape. The valves move as they should with minimal wear and may need a bit of cleaning as this head has been sitting for a while. These original parts are quite tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets! If you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration here’s your chance. The pictures tell the story. I have for sale a carburetor setup, rocker arm, and cylinder head setup from what I believe to be for a 1HP Mogul Throttle governed engine. Part number on the head is 1837T. The bolt hole spacing is 2 7/8 apart on center. The intake and exhaust valves are not stuck, however they are very rusty and I’m sure they will need ground and possibly the seats will need work as well. Definitely fixable with some work and time however. Rocker arm has no repairs. Both fuel adjustment knobs/valves turn freely. Throttle shaft moves freely as well and seems to have good spring tension. Please see all pictures for the absolute best description. With some work and cleaning this would make for a great addition to your engine if you’re in need of it!

I believe this head is for a 1 3/4HP Associated Or United engine, please research and measure up your engine before purchasing! The 4 mounting holes that hold the head onto the block measure 4 7/8″ x 4 7/8″ across from each other on center. The exhaust threads are 1. The pushrod holder bolt spacing is 1 3/4 apart on center. The carburetor mounting hole spacing is 2 1/8 apart on centers. Missing valves and springs. The seats have some minor pitting but I’m sure they would clean up with some minor grinding or lapping. I do not see any breaks or welds. Please see pictures for the absolute best description. This item is old, used, and is over 100 years old.
