This is a very hard to find original cylinder head and fuel mixer for a 1hp International Harvester Famous or Titan hit and miss engine. It is in good used condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind except for a chip on the OD of the ignitor trip lever roller. The original mixer is on it as can be seen and the needle moves as it should. The valve guides have been reamed and the seats have been dressed. It is ready to install your valves. It mounts with four holes on a 3 3/8 inch square hole pattern. The threads for the fuel line are in good shape. With just a few minor additions this head should be ready to be used on an engine! These original parts are quite tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so If you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration or to replace your broken or repaired one here’s your chance. For your consideration is an original HEAD with VALVES for 2-1/2hp & 3-1/2hp HERCULES or ECONOMY throttle governed engine. It has a 1″ diameter intake port which someone started to thread but isn’t threaded by much and 1-1/4″ NPT exhaust port which has good threads. The rocker arm stands & the pushrod guide have not been repaired as can be seen in the pics. The head is in good shape, but it is missing the bolt and keeper for the valves. The valves will likely need new stems but the seats seem fine. The mounting bolts are about 3-1/4 apart on centers. About 6-3/4 diameter outside head circle. Here is an original head for a 1hp IHC Famous or Titan engine. There is some old welding on the top of the head that looks decent and probably could be cleaned up very nicely. There is a very tight and tiny crack at the bottom of the head that probably won’t hurt a thing. The valves look like they should seal up fine. They have some wear in the guides but nothing that should be a problem. Check out the pictures and see if you need it. For questions 419 789 1159. Mounts with 4 holes about 3-3/8″ x 3-3/8″ apart on center. Weighs 9-1/2 lbs before any packing material or box. Has a weld and a crack. Very hard part to find! Thanks for looking at this listing! Here is a head for a 6hp IHC Famous hit and miss engine. It is a little rough around the edged but it may be better than nothing. It has a braze repair on the bottom and a very tight crack on the top. I’m sure the gasket surfaces and valve seats will need cleaned up. Check out the pictures and see if you need it. AS IS Part No. About 9-3/8 outside diameter measured at the gasket surface. The raised center area is about 5-3/4 in diamter. 5-1/4″ x 5-1/4″ Mounting pattern. Here is a nice original head that I think is for a Lauson engine. Please check the measurements to make sure it is what you need. The valve heads and seats look good but I would probably lap them before I put it on an engine.. The valves also feel good in their guides. For questions 419 789 1159. No cracks, breaks, or welds. The mounting hole pattern is 4-1/8″ x 4-1/8″ measured from closest hole to next closest hole on center. The carb mounts with 2 holes about 2-1/4 apart on center. About 6-7/8 in overall diameter. 15-1/2 lbs actual weight before box and packing materials. Most items will go out faster though. I have many good parts and pieces I will be listing in the next few months. I try to do a very good job of listing everything I sell in a very accurate manner to explain all the good and bad points with the pictures and in the description.
