Nice tank to a ball hopper Monitor. Im not sure how many sizes of the monitor this tank fits but Ill do my best at providing measurements. Very solid and original cast iron tank! Definitely a really rare piece especially if youre looking for one! Threads might need cleaned up a bit and the mouse nest inside needs taken out. Would look great on a engine or shelf! From end to end the tank measure 15.75. Tank is 7 in diameter. From outside to outside of the mounting ears, measures 8 3/8. 1 HP IHC Famous hopper cooled engine. No cracks breaks or welds that I know of. This engine is complete. Has a coil, hopper cover, muffler, crank guard, cart and pulley. I ran this engine this weekend at a show, it is show ready in my opinion. It ran for over 5 hours perfectly. Here are two videos of it running. Please note that this is a engine from the early 1900′s. I do not know of any breaks or welds or cracks in it. However, I have not taken the engine to bare metal, so I can only go from looks. It runs good, comes with a coil and brand new battery. This is for pick-up only. If some other way of transportation is sought, please contact me for details. 1923 Fairbanks-Morse throttle governed 10 hp hopper cooled, spark plug fired by RV magneto engine. Includes tin crank guard & a magnificent clutch pulley. Pics give best description. It was found in a lean-to near Pembroke, Ontario. Head has Old weld repair & is cracked. Crack on bottom of cylinder. Repair to end of rocker arm; big deal. No other cracks found. Piston is at the back of the cylinder & the engine has been covered, not a lawn ornament so it is not at all pitted nor should it be difficult to get unstuck: my opinion. It is what it is. Not a lot of 10 hp’s out there, not many are sparkplug version; I’ve seen more ignitor engines. Make an offer, it is for sale. Cash pays the bills, not comments. Very nice little 2 1/4hp Galloway hopper cooled hit & miss gas engine. Starts easy and runs great. Looks to have some original paint the current paint. It is missing the bottom choke plate portion of the mixer. There is a piece of tin in its place and runs fine the way it is. Nice original tag on the back of the base. Nice clean little engine. This is a very unusual and small original hopper cooled two cycle flywheel type gas engine. It is in excellent original condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that i can see or know of. It is quite small measuring only about 10 inches tall and 13 inches long overall. It has 6 1/2 x 1 inch flywheels on it. It turns over nicely with great compression and shouldn’t take much to make run although i haven’t tried it. It has most of it’s original paint on it and more to be found under the grease that’d still on it. It gets it’s fuel from the crankcase and the main bearing caps are cast integral with the crankcase cover. I believe this is a factory built engine as all of the castings, parts, and machine work seems very finished and not crude at all! There is no serial tag or evidence that there ever was one. I’m not sure if the muffler is original or a later addition but i’m sure it does a great job and gives the engine a mellow sound when it’s running. This engine would certainly be an attention getter at the shows! It would be a fine addition to your small engine collection and it’s easy to move around! I can deliver this for free to lesueur, mn, baraboo, wi, portland, in, or coolspring, pa, later this year. It can also be picked up here.
