This is a rather hard to find original Ideal 3/4 inch fuel mixer or carburetor for an old hit and miss gas engine. It is in good condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind except for a crack in the jam nut on the seat fitting. This jam nut really doesn’t do anything and could easily be removed. The needle moves as it should but the knob is is a bit loos on it which could easily be peened to be tight again. It has 3/4 inch pipe threads and they are in good shape. The 1/8 npt threads for the fuel line are also in great shape. The lower valve moves as it should and has little wear. It has a few dings and marks but every thing works as it should and I believe it is ready to be used on an engine. Old Ideal mixers are tough to find so if you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration or to put on the shelf with the rest of your engine parts here it is. The pictures tell the story.
