For your consideration is an original International Harvester, IHC, McCormick Deering model M Igniter. The shaft moves as it should. The 1/2″ bolts are 2-1/2″ on center. The cylinder area that goes in the engine is about 1-5/8″ diameter 1-3/8″ long. The last pic shows it producing a spark when I tested it. It needs a spring on the end of the shaft. This is a Webster igniter bracket for a Field Brundage or Sattley engine. The main casting appears to be in great shape. Check out the pictures and see if you need it. Mounts to the engine with 2 holes 3 apart on center. The center area is about 1-15/16 in diameter. Takes a K Webster mag with a 2″ x 2″ bolt pattern. Trip roller advance retard stuck. 303M9 Webster Mag Igniter Bracket. For 1 1/2 HP Field Brundage. Part is loose with no cracks, breaks or welds that I can see. Mounts to engine with two holes approx. 3 apart on center. Mag mounting is 1 1/2″ x 2″ for “M” magneto. Fits a 1 1/2 HP Field Brundage. I apologize for any inconvenience. Please feel free to call me with questions. Here is an original igniter trip roller assembly that is for a 2hp or 3hp vertical IHC Famous hit and miss gas engine. Take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it!
