Here is a nice original Knoblock-Heideman tension coil. I have never seen another exactly like it. This is to be used with an old gas engine that has an igniter, it will not work with a spark plug. It produces and excellent spark. It is ready to use. Please check out the pictures and decide if you need it. For questions 419 789 1159. About 2-9-16″ in diameter and is about 6-1/2″ tall. For your consideration is a reproduction igniter for a hit & miss engine. I’m told it could be a Jacobson but not for certain. The outside dimensions of the main body are about 2-5/8″ x 3-9/16″ and 5/8 thick. The 3/8″ bolt holes are 2-9/16″ on center. The round area that gossip in the combustion chamber is 1-5/8″ diameter x 1-5/16″ deep. The moveable contact shaft is 7/16. These are all the parts I have with it, I believe it’s missing springs but don’t know if anything else is needed. For your consideration is a 1hp Famous Trip finger, ramp shoe and bracket to hold it to the pushrod for a Hit Miss Stationary Engine. There do appear to be any cracks breaks or welds on it. I believe the finger and ramp are cast and the bracket is cast brass or bronze. It’s spring loaded as it should be. There is a very slight chip off to the edge of the tip that shouldn’t effect it’s usage. It’s painted a red primer.
