This is an extremely hard to find original Webster magneto ignitor bracket for an 8-cycle Aermotor hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. It is in excellent original condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It is bracket number 303M57 and mounts with two 7/16 inch holes 1 15/16 inches apart on center. This bracket is for the 8-cycle Aermotor engines but please measure your engine to be sure it fits your application. The magneto mounts on a 1 1/2 x 2 inch pattern so it would take a Webster M magneto… The points look to be in perfect shape. There is no noticeable wear on the movable shaft. Everything moves as it should and I think this bracket is ready to be used on an engine. If you’ve been looking for one don’t miss your chance on this one. This is an extremely hard to find original Webster magneto ignitor bracket for a 6, 8, and 10hp International Harvester Famous or Titan hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. It is in good original condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It mounts with two 1/2 inch holes 1 7/8 inches apart on center. This bracket will fit the 6, 8, and 10hp and possibly other sizes but please measure your engine to be sure it fits your application. It may also fit other engines. The magneto mounts on a 2 7/16 x 2 13/16 inch pattern so it would take a Webster or Podlesak JY magneto. The points look to be in perfect shape. There is a little wear on the movable shaft and a few pins need tightening up but I think the bracket is usable as is. Everything moves as it should. These brackets are extremely tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you’ve been looking for one don’t miss your chance on this one. This bracket will fit the 1 1/2hp engines and possibly the 2hp and other sizes but please measure your engine to be sure it fits your application. It may also fit other engines. This is a rather hard to find original Fairbanks Morse Type R rotary magneto for an old gas engine. These were commonly used on some of the Fairbanks Morse Type Z engines and could be use on others. It is for engines with spark plug ignition and not an ignitor. The magneto mounts with two holes 3 7/8 inches apart on center. It is clockwise rotation and turns over nicely with almost no noticeable wear in the bearings. I checked it just before I took the pictures and it puts out a nice, hot, blue spark that will surely run your engine if it is set up properly. The leadout seems to be in great shape. It could probably used a new spark plug wire. These Type R magnetos are getting more difficult to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you’ve been looking for one don’t miss your chance on this one. This is an extremely hard to find original Bosch FX2 magneto for an old two cylinder gas engine. These were commonly used on the Edwards engines among others. It has a gear on it for an Edwards, I believe, with 28 teeth. The magneto mounts on a 1 7/8 x 3 3/8 inch bolt pattern. It is clockwise rotation and turns over nicely with almost no noticeable wear in the bearings. I checked it just before I took the pictures and it puts out a nice, hot, blue spark that will surely run your engine if it is set up properly. There is very little wear on the gear. The only real flaws that I’ve noted is a slight amount of the base missing which shouldn’t affect anything as the mounting holes are still in good shape. It also needs a points cover and a name band which I believe are available from several of the hobby suppliers. The leadouts seem to be in great shape. These Bosch 2 cylinder magnetos are almost impossible to find in the wild or even at swap meets. I’ve only owned 3 of them in 20+ years. If you’ve been looking for one don’t miss your chance on this one. It will likely be a long time before another one turns up! It would also make a great spare on the shelf. This is an original cast iron piston and rod for an Alamo, Rock Island, Empire, Cockshutt, or other Alamo-built hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. The rod has a part number of 5943. The piston is 4 1/2 inches in diameter and the center to center from the wrist pin to the crankshaft journal is about 15 inches. I would say this is for about a 4-5 hp engines. If you know what size it fits please educate me. It is in good condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. The babbitt bearing looks to be in good shape as well. The wrist pin moves but is very stiff. The original rings are in it and may be usable but I’ll leave that up to the new owner. The rod cap is on it as well. Please measure your engine to be sure it works for your application. These original parts are quite tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets! This is an old, mostly original Associated Chore Boy hit and miss engine. It is in relatively barn fresh cosmetic condition but it appears someone has started working on the restoration. The head has been painted but the rest of the engine appears original. It looks to have a sleeve in the cylinder. It turns over as it should and the valves seem to have been redone. It has a decent amount of original paint on it and it still has some old grease and dried oil on it so there should be more original paint to be found! It has the large magneto on it and also the original fuel saver which are usually missing. The exhaust port on the head has some damage but I think there’s enough meat there to tap it further and it should be usable. The push rod clamp is cracked and should be replaced or repaired. One head stud is broken off a bit but may still be usable. There are no other cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of. The bearings all have many shims left in them and the gearing looks to be in very good condition. It is missing the original serial tag on the back of the crankcase but I believe these are available as reproductions. This engine should be a pretty straightforward project.
