Here is a Fairbanks Morse Type R magneto. This mag has the gear and impulse that is correct for some 3hp and 6hp FM Z engines with the angle cut gears. These mags with the impulse are hard to find! This mag makes a very hot spark. It turns over fine just as it should. Please take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. If you want to talk about it 419 789 1159. Only very minimal wear can be felt. Turns smoothly just as it should. The gear is about 3-11/16 in diameter and has 35 teeth. The impulse works great. Mounts with 2 holes about 3-7/8 apart on center.
