Nice little 1 3/4hp Independent Harvester. Hit & miss governed. Mounted on a nice cart for mobility. Igniter side flywheel has about an 1/8 wobble. Should be an easy fix. This is a rather hard to find 2hp Independent Harvester or Monmouth hit and miss gas engine. It is mostly complete with the exception of the magneto and a muffler. It has a few old repairs but ran the way it is. It has some compression even after sitting a few years. It has a repaired connecting rod, governor weight bracket, rocker arm, and ignitor bracket. The repair on the ignitor is hard to notice. Also, the pulley side of the hopper has been JB welded back in and could be dressed up pretty easily before a paint job. All in all this should be a pretty worth winter project. Independent engines don’t come along that often and this one is nearly all there to work with. I can deliver this for free to Baraboo, WI, Portland, IN, or Coolspring, PA, later this year. It can also be picked up here. I can be reached at 262 573 1931 if you’d like to talk about it.
