For parts or restore. Adjusted knob has a “slight bend” to it. Threads are 1/2 NPT, threads look usable however the part of them are slightly smashed an aren’t as sharp as they once were. Vintage hit miss engine oiler in very good condition. This oiler has raised lettering in the glass. The mounting threads are 3/8 inch NPT. The oiler measures about 5 1/2 inches tall. This is a pretty nice original and VERY had to find Hancock Inspirator or steam injector. It’s not all pounded up like a lot of the injectors that you see. It seems to be complete with all of the tail nuts and fittings. The valves seem to move as they should. I believe this a 3/4 inch inspirator as the plumbing is 3/4 inch on the bottom and 1/2 inch on top. The body measures about 6 3/4 x 9 1/2 inches. It is marked with the makers name on a barrel of the body. All in all this is a very nice original example. If you need one for any reason this one should serve the purpose. It would also make a great spare on the shelf. These original Hancock Inspirators are almost impossible to find in. The wild or even at swap meets so don’t miss your chance one this one.
