For sale is a Jaeger Model 3 1/2 t concrete mixer (ser# 87062) powered by an I. 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 Hp. Type LB Engine (ser# LBA 11494). It is rated at 3 1/2 cu. Cappacity and was built in 1946. I’m the third owner of this beautiful machine. When I bought it in the 90′s I was given the same order. I’ve used it occasionally for small jobs and have never hit it with a hammer. This mixer has always been stored inside. There is not a mark on the drum and the sheet metal is near perfect. The original paint (orange primer and red top coat) is flaking off the machine but if you study the interior of the engine compartment you’ll see areas bright, shinny original sheet metal. The mixer has been in storage for over 10 years and when first started it smoked a little but after about 5 minutes running no more smoking – this engine does not smoke. The tires are original. I don’t think there is another unrestored Jaeger mixer in this condition. This machine is also for sale locally and I retain the option to end this listing at any time. Thanks for looking at my sale. Nice unmolested original 1hp IHC Mogul on original skids. It is barn fresh and untouched for many years. Everything moves as it should but I think the rings are stuck as it has very little compression. It doesn’t seem to be very worn so I’m guessing it’s stuck rings. It has some original paint along with more to be found under the old grease and oil and has the original brass Accurate R magneto. It is missing the insert in the muffler and has an old, well-done braze repair on the cam follower bracket. No other cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of. Not many survivors like this left to be found! It can stay here as long as needed as long as it’s paid for. I can be reached at 262 573 1931 if you’d like to talk about it. I got it running. Has good compression, spark etc. Original paint and patina. No breaks or welds. Might be a early model M. Retains the brass placque on top. Real nice original 1 1/2hp IHC Type M engine. Lots of original paint and more to be found under the grease and oil. Fuel pump is loose. Engine has great compression and shouldn’t take much to make noise. It has the EK magneto on it. It has a repair on the mixer top and works as it should or it could easily be replaced. No other cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of. Will need a gas tank. Will make a great engine with just a little attention. Originals like this are getting tougher to find every year! I can deliver for free (or a cold beverage) to Coolspring, PA, next month or LeSueur, MN, Baraboo, WI, or Portland, IN, next year. It can stay here as long as needed as long as it’s paid for.
