IHC McCormick Deering 3 HP Gas Engine. Nice original looking engine, has original decals still and wico ek magneto. Looks like it has a few working repairs on the engine, governor, start/run lever, needs butterfly valve fixed, braze on pump lever maybe -all easy to find and affordable parts/fixes. Engine rolls over nice and has compression everything works/moves as it should. It will be in a custom built crate, shrink wrap, secured, insured, SAFE. Here is a nice original Big Webster JY magneto for the 6hp and larger international harvester engine. This magneto is the one used on 6hp and up horizontal tank, screen, and hopper cooled engines. I recently recharged the magnets and it produces a beautiful thick blue spark. The bushings are nice and tight. The only small flaws are its missing its original band (they make new ones) it has a very small crack in the body as can be seen from the pics. Does not effect performance. And lastly it has a small piece busted off from the bottom back bolt hole. Also doesn’t not effect the performance and can’t be seen when mounted on bracket. This is probably the hardest to find original sales catalog from International Harvester for their IHC Famous Gasoline Engines. It measures about 7 5/8 x 9 5/8 inches with 48 pages. It is in good condition for it’s age with some minor soiling and wear but displays very nicely. It has nice, embossed covers and overall it is nice and HEAVILY illustrated. It covers their stationary, portable, mounting and spraying engines including the Tom Thumb and vertical air cooled engines. It also shows their early tractors including the Type A, B, and C. It shows all of the construction features and options along with the different setups like pump jacks, clutch pulleys, and attachments. In my opinion it is one of the nicest catalogs that IHC offered and is in great shape considering it’s around a century old! This catalog would be a fine addition to your early industrial library and would look especially nice displayed with your IHC engine or machinery at the shows. These original catalogs don’t turn up very often as so many of them lost their battle with the wood stove back in the day so don’t miss your chance on this one. The pictures tell the story. Here is a nice, original IHC clutch pulley for your M, Mogul or Famous , etc engine. This will bolt onto the 6 hp “M”, ergo the 10 hp “M” as well. It will fit the 4 and 6 hp Mogul and some others I believe. It is 16″ diameter with a 6 1/2″ belt face. Centres are 15 1/2 apart. The part # on the handle is H791; I didn’t write any others down if needed. It weighs about 135 lbs! Good overall shape, not broken or welded. It locks and releases when I tried it on the ground; everything moves. It has the rare cross-drilled look to it to help it cool down when you’re grinding feed super fast :o. Okay, it has holes in it…. Which is not uncommon up here. Probably had wood slats bolted to it at one time, or belting. It is what it is. It is for sale so if you want it, make an offer. I can get this a ride to Portland, Indiana next week so keep that in mind.
