This is a real nice original crank guard or splash shield for a larger Nelson Brothers hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. At least I’m pretty sure it’s Nelson Bros… If it isn’t please educate me! It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It is about 6 1/8 inches wide and about 17 inches long. It is part number A-60 and mounts with one hole in the back of the crankcase of the engine. These original crankguards are rather tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets and many of them are missing. If you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration here’s your chance. This one is ready to be put to work on an engine or put into your inventory for a spare. The pictures tell the story. You won’t be disappointed in any way. Nice old original Alten yellow dog oil lamp. Used in the oil fields long ago for light to tend engines or what ever. Called yellow dogs as they look like two dogs eyes at night when lighted. I oiled it down and put two new wicks in and it is missing the lid but has the original bail. A new lid could be turned out of wood or steel. Very seldom found most were melted down years ago. This is a real nice old 12 inch cast iron clutch pulley for a hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It has a 6 1/8 inch face and is 12 inches in diameter. It mounts to the crankshaft with a 2 inch bore. It could be bored at least to 2 1/4 and also could be bushed down. Everything works as it should and there is seemingly little wear. The wood blocks are in great shape. It has some ugly green paint on it that could be stripped off pretty easily. These original clutch pulleys are extremely tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets and they really set an engine off! They also make it possible to run belt driven implements with your engine. If you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration here’s your chance. This one is ready to be put to work on an engine or put into your inventory for a spare. The pictures tell the story. Here is an original cast iron pulley for a 1-1/2hp and or 3hp John Deere E hit and miss engine Take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it! 5-1/2″ in diameter, 4-1/8″ wide. The center hole is about 3-1/8 in diameter. Mounts to the flywheel with 3 bolts about 3-3/8″ or 3-11/16″ on center. Please check the measurements with your engine to make sure it will fit. Most items will go out faster though. I have many good parts and pieces I will be listing in the next few months. I try to do a very good job of listing everything I sell in a very accurate manner to explain all the good and bad points with the pictures and in the description.
