This is a very nice original and very hard find old horizontal toy steam engine. I’m not sure of the maker but if you know please educate me! It certainly is very old. It is fresh from an early engine and mechanical toy collectors estate where it lived for decades. It seems to be in good condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see other than the nipple inlet for the steam or air line. It should be a very easy repair and really isn’t noticed. It turns over nicely and everything seems to move as it should. It has a good amount of original paint and plating on it as can be seen. The flywheel is about 4 inches in diameter and has a belt groove in it to run a dynamo or generator. The toy overall measures about 4 x 9 x 4 5/8 inches tall. It has a separate belt pulley on the crankshaft and has some cute little oil cups on the bearings! It is a very unique design that I’ve not seen before. It would be a great addition to your early mechanical toy collection or steam engine collection or display. These originals are awfully tough to find in the wild anymore so don’t miss your chance on it. The pictures tell the story. You’ll like it. This is an EXTREMELY hard to find original cast iron low tension ignition coil for a Stickney hit and miss gas engine. It is in excellent original condition as can be seen and retains some of the original blue paint. The knife switch works as it should. It is part number 1785. It mounts on top of the crankcase with two holes 4 inches apart on center and I believe it fits all sizes of Stickney engines. Please measure your engine or consult your parts book to be sure it fits your application. It will also work for other ignitor fired engines but is a factory Stickney coil. I checked it just before I took the pictures and it put out a spark like you are welding! These coils hardly ever turn up in the wild or even at swap meets so if you need one don’t miss your chance on it! It’s ready to go to work running an engine or it would also make a great spare on the shelf. The pictures tell the story. This is a beautiful old stationary rolling engine cart. It is in very good condition with no breaks or cracks in the iron wheels. Some wear to the wooden sections. The rear/top non-load bearing frame beam has some heavy wear and could use replacement. Rolls nicely with some sticking in the steering column. Some lubrication should free it up. Bolsters are cast iron of universal design, adaptable to your application. Fully machined and painted, ready for use. Axle u-bolts and mounting hardware included. Wheels are machine bored, rather than a rough cast cored hole. Handle mounting brackets clamp onto turning axle making handle mounting and removing easy. Instructions include with set. 12 diameter by 2 wide, 1-1/16 bore for ¾ pipe axle. Steering Bolster – 5 diameter base, 6-1/2 wide axle mount saddle, two 7/16 mounting bolts 3-3/4 apart. Solid bolsters – 3 tall, 4-1/2long mounting base, 1-1/2 thick. 3-1/2 long, 2 wide, 1 thick, ½ x 1 post. Maximum recommended engine weight is 500 pounds. The only parts needed to complete the cart are common 3/4 pipe for the axles, engine mounting rails, front bolster mounting plate, a handle and nuts and bolts. The side is marked s106 in a couple spots. Measures about 17 inches tall the wheel is about 12.5 diameter, it had a gold decal on the bottom side but I can not make out what it said.
