I have a rare american railway appliance company, (ARACO) self contained oilwell pump jack. It has been in our family since 1979 when my father brought it from the oil fields of oil city Penn. The photos i found show it without an engine back then, but my father had two upright air cooled ARACOs as well so i do not know why it was never put together with an engine. I have since brought it to NC from WI with hopes of putting a boviaird and seyfang engine on it to display, but the base of the engine is totally different so it is time for some one to enjoy it and hopefully put an engine on it. A very tough item to find as there is only alittle info on the ARACO itself. What you see is what i have. I think a 6 I beam and some weights would make it look complete. There is one lower piece with a crack and a iron repair to make it operational. It would look better to braze the crank and remove the brace for show, but that is for the next person to decide. The engine mount base holes are 6 3/4″ x 13 1/2″ and are threaded. The overall length is 5′ 2″ width is 27 1/2″ and height is 54. Weighs around 1000 lbs. If you give me a zip or the nearest fastenal store i will request a quote based on 1000lbs for you. The item “ARACO oilwell pump jack oilfield, hit miss engine american railway appl company” is in sale since Monday, July 18, 2016. Antique Monitor Pump Jack Stationary Gasoline farm engine. This listing includes the engine and pump jack gearing & clutch – NO cart, pump, or bucket. Has a battery box and Model-T Coil – does NOT come with battery. Flywheel is bent a little and wobbles some, but is a good runner. Has a high quality reproduction muffler. No other cracks or breaks that I can see. This is a good runner and will make a great addition to your collection. I prefer cash on pick-up at my house. It would be crated on pallet – about 350 lbs. Don’t miss your chance to add this piece from the days of old to your collection! Please examine pictures with zoom feature – pictures show condition. Thank you for looking! This is a project engine. Fairbanks Morse Jack of all trades. The piston is stuck and looks to be cracked on the top. The out side of the water jacket has a repair (most likely from freezing). The rod and crank look pretty good, (not rusted at all) The cooling tank has been dented pretty good. (Best for just a pattern). Please look at all photos and ask any questions you have. I can store for 180 days. Thank you for looking. The item “FAIRBANKS MORSE type T (Model Jack Of All Trades) Hit and miss engine Antique” is in sale since Sunday, October 04, 2015.
