This is an extremely nice original 2hp Jacobson hit and miss gas engine. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It turns over nicely with excellent compression and I’m sure it would start right up. I’ve owned it for several years and showed it a couple years ago. It has the scarce vertical governor and extremely scarce rotary magneto attachment. It is on a period jobber cart and looks and moves great on it. All it really needs is a new owner to have fun with it like I did. I can deliver it for free to Coolspring, PA, later this year or LeSueur, MN, Baraboo, WI, Portland, IN, or Coolspring, PA, next year. It can also be picked up here. The pictures tell the story. The original engines don’t come along that often and this one has a couple features that you don’t see real often! It would be tough to find a nicer one! Don’t miss it. Nine running 7hp Jacobson sideshaft hit & miss gas engine. No CBWs that I have seen. The engine has been fitted with a Wico OC magneto tripped by a finger on the end of the sideshaft.
