Here is an original governor setup for a 2-1/2hp to 12hp Hercules, Economy, or Jeager engine. It is in great shape. The governor weight spindle fits nice and tight in its hole. Check out the pictures and see if you need it. 3/4″ x 3/4″ push rod slot. Mounts to the engine with 2 holes 2 apart on center. No cracks, breaks, or welds on castings. Here is a nice Edgemont clutch pulley for a 2-1/2hp to 14hp Hercules, Economy, Jeager, or Arco engine. It seems to be in nice shape and should be pretty much ready to use. The main shaft is a little loose on the carrier, that is a common problem with this type of clutch. It has probably been like that for a long time and should continue to work like that. I think it would be easy to fix by drilling and tapping it for a set screw. Take a look at the pictures and see if you should have it. For a 2-1/2hp to 14hp Hercules built engine. Seems to work as it should. Bolts to every other spoke, mounting holes are 9-1/2 apart on center. Weight 71lbs before any box or packing materials. Most items will go out faster though. I have many good parts and pieces I will be listing in the next few months. I try to do a very good job of listing everything I sell in a very accurate manner to explain all the good and bad points with the pictures and in the description. So if someone doesn’t pay I will ban them from my listings and also tell all my friends who also sell engine parts on here who to watch out for. This beautiful unrestored original engine runs great and is ready to work again. This is a unique jaeger as it was never used or installed on a cement mixer. The original owner ordered a Hercules engine and cart from local hardware here in Indiana. Somehow when delivered it was painted as a Jaeger. The original owner didn’t care since it was ordered to run a water pump on the farm and it came in by train. What you see is how it came in 1924. Has beautiful paint and pinstripes but never had the heart to polish all the years of work off her. Everything is original and never been apart except I rebuild the mag and installed new piston rings. The old man I got it from said he remembers getting whipped by his dad cause he thought it was cool to put sticks while running. He was about 8 years old and he knocked off a fly weight. It ran and still had the weight in the hopper witch I have since reinstalled. Also it was too quite with muffler installed. He removed it so at night he could hear it running or not running. The muffler is a repo I acquired and installed. You’ll be Getting a good beautiful engine and a few unique stories to tell when you show her off. This is for an original, not restored, 1 1/2 model S Economy, Hercules hit and miss engine. All the paint and decals appear to be all the original. I clear coated the engine to preserve that. Engine has good compression, has a good Wico EK mag. Has not run in 2 years, should only take some cleaning of the check valve in the fuel line. It came off a Jeager cement mixer, so it has a sprocket instead of a belt pulley. I think I have the starting crank for the engine. Not sure about the gas tank. Includes the cart it is sitting on.
