This is a rather hard to find original ignitor for a John Lauson Frost King Jr or Alpha DeLaval Jr hit and miss gas engine. It should also be correct for the earliest Model W Lauson-built engines. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind that I can see or know of and has just been rebuilt with new mica, a new stationary electrode, new points, and springs.

Here is a carburetor 3hp John Deere E gas engine. It appears to be in great shape. Please take a look at the pictures and see if you need it. The mounting holes are about 2-3/8 apart on center. For questions 419 789 1159. Most items will go out faster though. I have many good parts and pieces I will be listing in the next few months. I try to do a very good job of listing everything I sell in a very accurate manner to explain all the good and bad points with the pictures and in the description. Here is an original head with valves for a 1-1/2hp John Deere E gas engine. I can’t feel any wear with the valves in their guides. It appears to be in great shape. Please take a look at the pictures and see if you need it. Very nice valves, they fit perfect in their guides. Missing the choke plate, those are very simple and easy to get. Nice clean appearing igniter! Has good spring tension! I don’t see why it shouldn’t work with little to no adjustments, however it could definitely be possible springs may need adjusting depending whether you plan to run your engine with a magneto or a battery and coil. I don’t see any breaks or repairs, there is some “holes” air pockets but I believe that’s just a casting flaw. Shouldn’t affect its performance at all. Vintage oversize John Deere hit miss engine piston and rings in excellent condition. I measured this piston and it is. If your John Deere has a pitted or worn out cylinder, you can have the cylinder bored and install this piston. There is no wrist pin or locking bolts.
