Pulley for Hit Miss Gas Engine, Tractor, or Auto. Pulley is in good condition and ready to use. 3 1/4 on centers mounting holes. No breaks, crack, or welds. This is an extremely nice original low tension magneto for a John Deere E hit and miss gas engine. It will fit the 1 1/2, 3, and 6hp engines. It currently has a 1 1/2hp gear on it but it could easily be switched out. The magneto is in great shape with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of except a very slight chip next to a band screw that will affect nothing. There is very little noticeable wear in the bearings or on the gear teeth. It turns nice and smoothly as it should and has good magnetic pull as I just recharged the magnet. The mounting threads in the bolt holes are in remarkably excellent condition. This magneto has the original dust shield and felt on it and is ready to go to work on an engine! It would also be a great spare to have in inventory for a future project! These original John Deere magnetos are quite tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets! If you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration or to replace your broken or repaired one here’s your chance. The pictures tell the story. You’ll like it! 1928 John Deere E 1-1/2 HP stationary gasoline hit & miss farm engine on correct reproduction cart with redwood skids. Just finished this beautiful nut & bolt restoration. All nuts and bolts are original and have been cleaned and clear coated to prevent rust. Original gas tank has been coated and drain plug should not be removed. Nice new paint – starts and runs as it should. No issues with this one – it’s ready to go. 3 Hp John Deere Hit And Miss Engine BRASS TAG

This is a 3 hp brass tag John Deere hit and miss Engine. The engines is loose and has good compression! The magneto and igniter are in good condition and both loose. This engine comes with the cart, the back bolster has been welded and is broken. I have the broken piece that will go with it. The magneto side flywheel potentially has a hairline crack the 2 of the spokes. The water jacket also has a freeze crack. The rocker arm is welded. Thats the only issues I have found with this engine. It also has a 6 inch pulley on it! This will make an excellent project with minimal work! All parts are there! The price is flat for all lower 48 states. It will need to be picked up at your local fastenal store. 3 HP John Deere E Hit & Miss Gas Engine Cylinder Block Good Shape

John Deere 3 HP Engine Block. There are no breaks or welds or repairs on the block anywhere, would be a good replacement block for an engine that has a crack or a repair that you dont like. The cylinder doesn’t look too bad, (the picture doesn’t make it look very good) its in pretty good shape, it has some minor surface rust, but I think a good hone and this would run fine, probably pretty darn good.
