Here is a nice Little John model that was made by Farmer Browns Engines. It is a model of 1-1/2hp John Deere E hit and miss engine. This is a great running model. Please search “Little John Engine” on YouTube my user name is sideshaft08. It is a used model with some slight scrapes and scratches in the paint. Made from cast iron castings. Overall 15″ height, 16-1/2″ long, 13 wide. The engine itself is 15-1/2″ long, 9-1/2″ wide, and 10-1/2 tall. Runs one regular gasoline. Excellent compression, turns smoothly. Needs a battery and coil (not included) to run, the mag is only for decoration. Missing the door on the battery box underneath (its just a piece of plywood but I’m too lazy to make one). Most items will go out faster though. I have many good parts and pieces I will be listing in the next few months. I try to do a very good job of listing everything I sell in a very accurate manner to explain all the good and bad points with the pictures and in the description. So if someone doesn’t pay I will ban them from my listings and also tell all my friends who also sell engine parts on here who to watch out for. If you haven’t caught on this is supposed to be mildly funny but yet serious at the same time. If you decide you don’t want it or find another one cheaper you I won’t take it back. Up for scale is a beautiful 1/3 scale Associated Hit and Miss The Hired Man Little Brother engine professionally built by George P. Lowman from Keymar, Maryland in 1986. Lowman was known for building show quality model engines as you can see in the pictures. Lowman’s estate sale. Take notice of the L in the castings for Mr. Lowman’s initial where you would typically see the B for Breisch castings. This engine has a 1 1/4 inch bore with a 1 5/8 inch stroke. The flywheels are 6 1/4 inches in diameter. Overall length is 15 inches with a height of 9 1/2 inches. Measurements for the height and length include the base. Included with this engine is the blueprints used by Mr. Lowman to complete the build. This would make a great addition to anyone’s collection. This is a model engine made from bar stock based on the Little Angel design. I bought this engine with intentions of restoring it, but I haven’t gotten around to it and it’s taking up space on the shelf. It is free and missing the governor springs and possibly a few other small pieces. It is free and has compression, though weak. I was going to replace the rings with a viton seal, which is just a little lathe work. The gas tank is included but it’s in rough shape and I was just going to build another. See pics for dimensions. No cracks, breaks or welds except for a repaired rocker arm (see picture). Has Webster Magneto, 16 fly wheels. Starts and runs well. Don’t know if cart is original, but it is very nice. Offered here is a model gas hit and miss 4 cycle engine. The castings were done by (or made) ervin. I ran this engine a couple of times some years ago. The coil and oiler were lost but the points are still in tact. You would need a small high tension coil and a small battery to run it. This is a nice little engine that i was going to restore the finish etc. But never got around to it. It’s another one of my “wuzzgonna” projects that got buried behind a bunch of other projects. It’s a heavy little cast iron model with flywheels that are about 7 in diameter. Take a look at all the photos and feel free to ask any questions. I will do my best to answer them. I pack well for safe arrival and aim to please. This is a nice little gas engine for your collection or just to show it off—————————— ———-thanks for looking!
