One of just a few known 7hp Steiner Long Life engine built in Plymouth, WI. Hit and miss engine with unusual design… Headless, governor weights inside the flywheel, and ignitor trips on the pull stroke of the push rod. Engine is in great shape with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind that I can see or know of other than the tab for the choke plate on the mixer. Sumter B gear driven magneto as seen. Muffler, gear guard and crank guard are excellent fabrications. Sitting on a large Jacob Haish engine truck that rolls well. Engine has great compression and was run a few years ago. I haven’t tried it but see no reason it wouldn’t run. Original tag is missing but info is on the handmade plaque. Serial number is on the end of the crankshaft. If you’re looking for something different here it is. This engine has indirect connections to John Lauson’s engines and has very nice and similar lines to them. I can deliver for free to Coolspring, PA, Baraboo, WI, or Portland, IN, later this year. It can stay here as long as needed as long as it’s paid for.
