Here is a new Bronze Lunkenheimer Arch that was made to display gas and steam engine oilers. It is 29 1/2″ long and 9″ tall, and weighs 12 lbs. It reads Compliments Of The Lunkenheimer Co Cincinnati New York London on both sides. It has already been drilled and tapped to 1/8, and will hold up to 11 oilers. Larger oilers will need reducing fittings to work. I know someone who put small steam whistles on his and it looked really good. Please check out my other auctions on now and in the next few weeks. Vintage brass Lunkenheimer steam valve with a Crosby Shipman Engine Company gauge. This was mounted on a nipple and board for Hit & Miss and other Shows. Has a patent date of Aug. Measures about 13 from the bottom of the valve to the top of the gauge. I don’t know anything about the pieces, and or it the parts are all there or not. They have not been tested! Very nice well marked “Lunkenheimer No 5 Paragon”. “Patented Jan 21, 1902″. Nice brass patina for antique oiler. Overall this is about 8 long. Just about 3 3/8 across at it’s widest point. The glass cylinder is about 3 tall. Minor chip in glass cylinder as well as a couple of minor pits. Sight glass is intact. Normal amount of corrosion, wear and tear. Oiler has vent tube and check valve. Check ball is intact (see pictures). Wooden stand is not included. Have not cleaned oiler and will probably need new gaskets. Will allow new owner to clean to their own specifications. No reserve, read particulars. An 1889 LUNKENHEIMER Brass Engine Oiler, Crown No. 0, Swing Arm, Hit Miss Model

This is a crown type, no. 0, for a smaller engine, and would probably work well for a scale model engine. Feed mechanism is a needle valve with a swing arm which can be locked to adjust oil inflow. Device for locking swing arm has a patent date 1889. Bottom has threaded end which appears to be a standard size plumbing (npt) fitting in 1/4-18 size. Overall length is about 4-1/8 inches (10.5 cm). Item is in excellent condition. Brass exterior has some light bumps. Glass is good. I disassembled & cleaned it, but the lower glass chamber still has residue on inside; i just cannot get inside it to clean it. Cork gaskets appear fine.
