Vintage mag – has hot fire. Not sure what it fits, it s a 4 cylinder but I’ve been told they can be converted to two cylinder and will fit some early motorcycles.

ROCK ISLAND EMPIRE ALAMO Hit Miss Gas Engine Piston 9347 Magneto Ignitor 4 1/8

This is an original cast iron piston for an Alamo, Rock Island, Empire, Cockshutt, or other Alamo-built hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. The piston has a part number of 9347. It is 4 1/8 inches in diameter with a tape measure and 4 13/16 long overall. It has a 1″ diameter wrist pin hole that is about 2 7/16″ on center from the top of the piston. I would say this is for about a 3hp engine. If you know what size it fits please educate me. It is in good condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. The original rings are in it and may be usable but I’ll leave that up to the new owner. Please measure your engine to be sure it works for your application. These original parts are quite tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets! If you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration or to replace your broken or repaired one here’s your chance. Here is a Wico Magneto Bracket for a 1-1/2hp to 2hp Hercules or Economy Engine. It seems to be in good shape and ready to use. Check out the pictures and see if you need it. Here is a real nice original diecast magneto gear for a Sparta Economy hit and miss gas engine. It measures about 2 3/4 inches in diameter with a 1/2 inch face. It has a 3/8 inch keyed hole for the magneto armature shaft. It is about 7/8 inch thick through the bore. It has 20 teeth and they are in great shape. They have very little noticeable wear if any at all. This gear has no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It looks to have hardly been used and is ready to be put to work on an engine. These original gears are getting pretty tough to find. Don’t miss it.

Springs are missing and the little rollers are stuck. This magneto will produce a weak spark by giving the armature a quick spin by hand and scratching the lead out wire against my steel bench. I don’t believe it’s enough spark to start or run an engine and it is not a consistent spark. 2″ x 2″ mounting. Armature has side to side wear and I imagine new bushings in the plates will be needed. I believe this is a good candidate for a rebuild. Mounting holes are solid. I do not see any cracks in the pot metal base. The back bearing plate has a chunk/piece missing next to the little Oiler hole which most likely is from the trip mechanism hitting it. See pictures for the absolute best description!

Webster model M 20 magneto for sale. This magneto puts out a WEAK spark by giving the armature a quick spin by hand and by scratching the lead out wire against my steel bench. I don’t think it will start or run an engine in its current condition but i believe it’s a great candidate for a simple rebuild or even a quick re charge may do this magneto wonders. Please note that this magneto has the extra stud on the back side of the end plate to hold a roller for a trip arm. A lot of stover engines took that and possibly other brands. The armature bushings seem to have the typical “slop” not tight but not completely worn out like others I have seen. The Mounting studs seem to be good shape and they have a bolt pattern of 1 1/2″ x 2″ on centers. I do not see any cracks unlike most pot metal bases! If you’re looking for a barn fresh magneto and have the Knowledge and tools to get this working like new again this is the item for you! See pictures for the absolute best description.

HOT ACCURATE Type O Low Tension Magneto. Bench tested – HOT with test light. I recharged the magnets. Base mounting with 4 holes that measure 2″ x 2″ apart-on-center. Mounting threads look good. The mag is currently set-up with a trip for an IHC Mogul Hit Miss Engine. The trip could be changed out and this mag could be used for other uses. Please feel free to call me with questions. My parts inventory has grown out of control, so set a reminder to check back frequently for new listings! If you don’t see a part you need listed, good chance I just haven’t gotten around to it yet, so just check with me. Here is a trip finger for an Wico R1 magneto. It seems to be in great shape. There is an addition at the bottom to make it longer. It is not welded to the original trip finger, the weld is only holding on the washers in-between, it will easily come apart. Please take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it.
