1 1/2hp HERCULES ECONOMY Hit Miss Gas Engine Piston Connecting Rod Steam Magneto

This is an original cast iron piston and connecting rod assembly for a 1 1/2 or 2hp Hercules or Economy hit and miss gas engine. It may fit other models or sizes so please do your homework to be sure it fits your application. It is in good condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind except for the boss for the wrist pin set screw which can be relocated to the other side. The wrist pin bushing needs to be replaced and the rod bearing is missing but is available from several of the hobby suppliers. The piston measures about 3 1/4 inches in diameter and about 4 1/4 inches long. It is about 2 1/8 inches from the top to the center of the 5/8 inch diameter wrist pin hole. Please measure your engine to be sure it works for your application. These original parts are quite tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets! If you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration or to replace your broken or repaired one here’s your chance. The pictures tell the story. It would surely beat making one! WICO EK Magneto Trip Arm and Support Bracket for 1 1/2 – 2hp Hercules Economy. Fits with a 3/4″ x 3/8″ pushrod. This bracket WILL NOT work with the 2 1/2HP – 12HP Hercules as it is intended for the smaller 1 1/2HP – 2HP Hercules. Please feel free to call me with questions. Here is a hot Wico EK magneto that will fit many different old engines. This mag has has some wear and may need a new bushing in the armature. It may be able to run an engine as it is but there is a chance it may not. It really makes a great spark when tripped correctly and has a ton of magnetic pull. Model K Webster magneto. Has the extra roller for a stover engine. Timing lever is not stuck, the little roller is stuck however. The 2″ x 2″ mounting holes have good threads. With the springs removed, and giving the armature a quick spin by hand while scraping the wire against my metal bench a weak spark can be seen. Highly unlikely it’s not enough spark to run a engine. Should be a great candidate for a rebuild or for parts. See pictures for the absolute best description. Will need gone through and fixed up before being put to use!

Here is a hot Wico EK magneto that will fit many different old engines. This mag is in good shape with less than average wear. It should be ready to start and run your engine.
