Here is a very nice Hercules Electric Type M2 friction magneto. It is in great shape. I hooked it up to a 12 volt battery and it spun just as it should. Please check out the pictures and see if you need it. For questions 419 789 1159. SPECIAL NOTE: This is friction type generator. This mag is meant to be used with a coil. It is not meant to be able to start an engine but is meant to take the place of the batteries once the engine is running. It in itself will not produce a spark that will jump an air gap. Mounts with 2 holes about 4-3/4 apart on center. About 6-3/8 tall not counting the wood base. No bearing wear can be felt. Weighs about 12-1/2 lbs before any box or packing materials. I think I list items very accurately but my opinion on condition may differ from yours. In my opinion this is a great magneto. If you have any questions about how to use it on your engine please ask. This is a rather hard to find original cast iron crankshaft pinion gear for a 3hp Fairbanks Morse Z throttle governed or hit and miss gas engine. It is in good used condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It measures about 3 5/8 inches in diameter and has an 11/16 inch face. It has 35 teeth, all of which are in good, usable shape. It has a 1 13/16 bore for the crankshaft. This gear may also work on some of the Type T Fairbanks Morse engines but please do your homework to be sure it fits your application. If you need a gear for your engine because yours is missing, broken, or repaired here’s your chance at a very nice one. It’s ready to go to work on an engine. It would also make a great spare on the shelf. These are extremely tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so don’t miss your chance on it. It would surely beat making one! Here is an original Webster magneto bracket that is for a Field Brundage or Sattley engine. It is in pretty nice shape and should be ready to use. Take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it! For questions 419 789 1159. No wear can be felt. The mounting holes are 3 apart on center to attach it to the engine. Takes a Webster M or MM magneto with the 1-1/2″ x 2″ mounting pattern. Most items will go out faster though. I have many good parts and pieces I will be listing in the next few months. I try to do a very good job of listing everything I sell in a very accurate manner to explain all the good and bad points with the pictures and in the description. So if someone doesn’t pay I will ban them from my listings and also tell all my friends who also sell engine parts on here who to watch out for. HOT ACCURATE Type R Low Tension Magneto. Brass body – no band. Bench tested – HOT with test light. I recharged the magnets. Base is 3″ x 3″ with 2 mounting holes that measure 1 15/16 apart-on-center. Here is a hot Wico EK magneto that will fit many different old engines. This mag has wear and will need a new bushing in the armature. It may be able to run an engine as it is but there is a good chance it may not. Please take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. If you want to talk about it 419 789 1159. Came from a local estate. Still retains some of its original red paint. Everything turns and is not froze up. The wire that comes off the top has no insulation on it as seen in the last photo. This will have to be fixed. I think it’s complete, but since I don’t know how this thing works I’m going to sell it as not working and for restoration or parts. Check the pictures as they are part of the description. Weight is over 24 pounds.
