It makes a spark that can be seen when the igniter points open. Here is a Webster K magneto. This mag has the desirable all brass body. It makes an excellent spark. The bearings have only a small amount of wear but the armature also has a very small amount of drag.

Here is a 303K147 Webster magneto igniter bracket for a DesJardins gas engine. It has been repaired but that repair looks straight and strong. Uses a K or L magneto with the 2″ x 2″ mounting pattern.

Nice clean appearing magneto!! When looking at this magneto with the “flipper facing you” when tripped to the right the mag produces a nice blue spark with a champion A-25 spark plug. Spark plug not included. I do not know what this magneto specifically fits. Would make for a excellent display or even a shelf item. See all pictures for the absolute best description and use your best judgment before purchasing.
