This is an extremely hard to find ignitor for a Reeves Pulley Company hit and miss gas engine. It is a brand new faithful reproduction. It has a cast iron body and mounts with two 1/2 inch holes 2 1/4 inches apart on center. This ignitor should fit all sizes of Reeves Pulley Company engines but please measure your engine or consult your parts book to be be sure. Everything moves and functions as it should as it is 100% brand new and it is ready to be used on an engine or put on the shelf for a spare. Here is a very nice magneto for a John Deere E hit and miss gas engine. It makes an excellent spark. It has perfectly tight bearings. Please take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. SPECIAL NOTE: This is a low tension magneto, it is meant to work with an igniter and will not produce at spark that will jump an air gap. It will not work with a spark plug. The spark it produces can be observed by rubbing a wire from the terminal against the case of the mag while turning the shaft. It does have to be timed to the engine. 3/8 shaft for gear mounting. The mounting holes have excellent threads. For questions 419 789 1159. I think I list items very accurately but my opinion on condition may differ from yours. In my opinion this is a nice magneto. Fairbanks Morse Type “R” Magneto High Tension Magneto. I recharged the magnets to make sure it was at full strength. Bench tested and guaranteed to be a HOT mag. 3 7/8 apart-on-center mounting. Solid body with signs of wear on one side that will not affect use. In my opinion, the mag is in good condition and ready to use. PLEASE REVIEW THE PHOTOS TO DETEMINE IF THIS IS RIGHT FOR YOU. This is an original cast iron sub base for a 3hp Fairbanks Morse Z gas engine. It should fit all of the variations of 3hp Z engines. It is in good condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of. The crankcase mounts to it on a 9 x 17 inch hole pattern and the theads are in perfect shape. This sub base should be ready to be used under an engine. The pictures tell the story. These original unbroken, unrepaired sub bases are quite tough to find so if you’ve been looking for one don’t miss your chance on this one. It would be a great replacement for yours with a broken or repaired mounting foot. I can deliver for free (or a cold beverage) to Baraboo, WI, Portland, IN, or Coolspring, PA, later this year. Magneto is in good condition and ready to use. Flip type with brass body. HOT – throws a nice blue spark. Bolt pattern 2″ x 2″ – threads all look good. Points cover is homemade.
