Here is a Sears Roebuck S5 friction magneto. It is in great shape. I hooked it up to a 12 volt battery and it spun just as it should. Please check out the pictures and see if you need it. For questions 419 789 1159. SPECIAL NOTE: This is friction type generator. This mag is meant to be used with a coil. It is not meant to be able to start an engine but is meant to take the place of the batteries once the engine is running. It in itself will not produce a spark that will jump an air gap. 4-5/8 on center mounting. No bearing wear can be felt. See pics for dimensions. Weighs about 13.5 lbs before any box or packing materials. I think I list items very accurately but my opinion on condition may differ from yours. In my opinion this is a great magneto. If you have any questions about how to use it on your engine please ask. Don’t be a clown and tear it all apart and then try to return it when you can’t get it to work. For your consideration is an original 8 Cycle Aermotor hand start crank part number Z219. It should fit a 1-3/8″ crankshaft as it’s 1-13/32″ through. The wood hand grip is missing and the bolt is bent but that’s an easy enough part to fix. It’s in original patina. Original part numbers 13N190A and 13N195A. Mounting hole spacing for where the magneto mounts is 2 on centers. The 2 mounting holes that hold the bracket to the block measures 2 apart on centers. No breaks cracks or repairs. The gear turns over good. I believe this brackets fits some of the 1 1/2HP F&J model N engines and some of the later 2 1/2HP engines. Please measure up your engine and research before purchasing.

Here is a head for a 6hp IHC M igniter style engine. There are no freeze breaks, cracks, or welds that I can see or know of. The exhaust valve guide is slightly chipped on the inside, that guide is long so I do not think it would hurt it in any way. The guides are also replaceable so it could be changed out if you wanted. Obviously it is missing its valves and springs. The stud on the throttle is a little loose but should work fine, some loctite would tighten it up. Check out the pictures and measurements and see if you need it. For questions 419 789 1159. For a 6hp IHC M Igniter Style Engine, nothing else. Missing valves & springs. I think most all of my customers with a normal level of sanity are happy. I think most people would agree that I do an extremely good job of packing items so I guess it’s worth the wait.
