VERY nice original International Harvester Type L rotary low tension magneto. Several applications including 1 1/2hp and 3hp Type M engines with ignitor ignition, 1hp Titan/Famous and possibly others. It’s in great shape with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of except for brand new threaded inserts in the mounting holes. Included with this repair are bushings for the holes in the engine and the correct bolts to mount the magneto. It turns over smoothly with excellent magnetic pull. I just charged the magnets and it puts out a very hot spark that will surely run your engine if set up properly. It mounts with two holes 2 inches apart on center. It has a 36 tooth gear and dust shield on it for the 3hp M which could be swapped out for the correct gear for your application as needed. It has the original name band on it and it’s ready to go to work on an engine or would be a great spare on the shelf for the next time you need one as they just don’t come along very often! These IHC Type L magnetos are quite tough to find especially in this condition so don’t miss your chance if you need one for any reason. Let the pictures be your guide. You’ll like it. HOT IHC Type L Low Tension Magneto (not for use with a spark plug). Typically, the L Mag is used on the 1 1/2HP or 3HP IHC M Hit Miss engine but can be used on other engines. Bench tested – HOT with test light. I recharged the magnets. Pot metal body with original band. Base has 2 mounting holes that measure 2 apart-on-center – threads look good. Here is a hot Wico EK magneto that will fit many different old engines. This mag is in great shape and is tighter than most. It should be ready to start and run your engine. 1 3/4 engine block from a hit and miss engine. The tag does not have the name but I’m almost positive it is a Hercules. Expect for 4 scores at the bottom (see picture) the cylinder looks clean and free from cracks. I got Lancaster, Pa about once a month and can take it there for free if you meet me the next time I go there at a mutual location such as the Tractor Supply store on route 896. This is a nice original ignitor trip assembly for a Fuller Johnson N or K hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. It may fit several sizes so please do your homework to be sure it fits your application. It is in excellent, used condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind and has very minor wear on it. It fits on a 1/2 round push rod. Please measure your engine to be sure it works for your application. This assembly is ready to be used on an engine or put in your inventory as a spare. These original parts are quite tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets! If you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration or to replace your broken or repaired one here’s your chance.
