Here is a Webster M magneto. It makes an excellent spark. No bearing wear can be felt. The armature spins freely when the springs are taken off without any drag. The name tag or brass band may have been repaired. There is no signs of any cracking on the body of the mag. Please take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. For questions 419 789 1159. The mounting pattern is about 1-1/2″ x 2″, all studs tight in their holes. No cracking on the body of the mag. The brass band may be repaired but that doesn’t matter at all. Armature spins freely with springs off, no armature drag. Strong magnetic pull can be felt when turning the armature. This is a low tension magneto meant to work with an igniter. It will not produce a spark that will jump an air gap no matter who tells you it will or how close you hold the wire to ground.. It makes a spark that can be seen when the igniter points open. Most items will go out faster though. I have many good parts and pieces I will be listing in the next few months.
