Offered for your consideration is an exceptionally scarce original 1916ish large layout International Harvester dealer’s catalog. These are the holy grail of IHC paper collectibles and hardly ever come up for sale. It measures about 10 x 16 1/2 inches with 45 individually numbered pages. Each page has a front and a back. Techinially there are 90 pages. 32 of those pages have colored cuts on one side or the other. The balance of the uncolored pages has very detailed information and illustrations about the equipment they are promoting including various accessory parts and setups. It is a great reference catalog if you collect or work on vintage IHC equipment. The catalog is in good condition for it’s age with some minor soiling and wear but displays very nicely. It has nice, leather type covers with the front one embossed with the IHC logo and overall it is nice and HEAVILY illustrated with great color. The pages are not numbered consecutively because this particular dealer didn’t sell the entire IHC line of equipment. In my opinion it is one of the hardest to find catalogs that IHC used for their salesmen and is in great shape considering it’s around a century old! I highly doubt there’s many more left to be found in the wild! This catalog would be a fine addition to your early industrial library and would look especially nice displayed with your IHC engine or machinery at the shows. These original catalogs don’t turn up very often as so many of them lost their battle with the wood stove back in the day so don’t miss your chance on this one. The pictures tell the story. Accurate type O magneto for hit miss engine. Mag is in good condition and ready to use. Mag has is freshly rebuilt by Marks Magneto. Mag fits the IH Mogul side shaft engines and others as well. BRASS mag that is very solid to use. Threads are all in good shape. Lights up a 12 volts test light by hand nice. I recharged the magnets to make sure it was at full strength. 2″ X 2″ mounting spacing. Guaranteed to be a HOT mag. If you don’t see a part you need listed, good chance I have it and haven’t gotten around to it yet so just check with me. Like I said I have done this a long time and try to list everything accurately to explain all the good and the bad. If you decide you don’t want it or find another one cheaper, I won’t take it back. Here is a very rare magneto for an IHC Mogul gas engine. These brass Accurate mags are hard to find. This is about the only spare we’ve had in many years of collecting. This mag fits the 1 HP, 1 3/4 HP, & 2 1/2 HP Moguls as well as some other early IHC engines. This mag has the original gear, but it is missing one tooth. You may be able to braze a tooth back in well enough to use it. It would certainly be easier than making a whole new gear! The mag is stuck and will need some attention before it’s used again, but the base and magnets look good and it should make a good mag. This is a very hard to find original Accurate Type R rotary low tension magneto for a hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. These were used on the 1, 1 3/4, and 2 1/2 hp International Harvester Mogul engines from the factory. They were also options on many other IHC engines including the vertical Famous, 2 1/2hp horizontal, 1hp Famous/Titan, and several others including the earliest 6hp Type M’s. It is in excellent original condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of. It has almost no wear in the bearings and turns over with excellent magnetic pull. It puts out a hot, fat, blue spark and is ready to run your engine if it is set up properly. It mounts with two holes 2 inches apart on center and the threads are in perfect shape. It has the original name band on it and overall it has a great look to it! If you’ve been looking for one don’t miss your chance on this one. It will likely be a long time before another one turns up and it probably won’t be this nice! It would also make a great spare on the shelf. Let the pictures be your guide. This is a really nice original Accurate Type R rotary magneto. It was used on the earliest 6hp Type M engines with ignitor ignition. It was also standard equipment on the 1, 1 3/4, and 2 1/2hp Mogul engines. It was also optional equipment on the vertical Famous, and some of the horizontal Famous and Titan engines and some others. It mounts with two holes 2 inches apart on center and the mounting threads are in great shape. It is in great used condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It has very little wear in the bearings and has the original name band on it. It turns over nice and smoothly with excellent magnetic pull and puts out a hot, fat, blue spark! It needs two washers and a compression spring on the leadout post to be complete. These are available from the hobby suppliers or you could easily make some. With the addition of these it will be ready to be put to use on an engine or put on the shelf for a spare! It’s one of the nicest brass R magnetos I’ve had in quite some time. They usually require several hundred dollars worth of repair work but not this one. The pictures tell the story.
