Hit Miss OILFIELD Engine Plunger Cast Iron Water Pump Motor Steam Oiler NICE

This is a nice original plunger type water pump for an old hit and miss oil field engine or other type of engine. It is in good, used condition with wear consistent with age but nothing excessive. The body of the pump mounts with one stud on the bottom of it. The plunger moves as it should and measures about 1 1/16 between the legs of the clevis. It measures about 11 1/2 long from the tip of the plunger to the base of the mounting pad. The 1/2 npt thread are in great shape. After the addition of new packing under the nut it should be ready for service. If you need one for any reason this one should serve the purpose. It would also make a great spare on the shelf. These original brass water pumps are almost impossible to find in. The wild or even at swap meets so don’t miss your chance one this one. The pictures tell the story. 3/8 NPT Brass Pedestal Belt Drive Water Gear Pump Steam Hit Miss Engine Motor

This is an old brass gear pump that would work great to circulate cooling water on a hit and miss gas engine. It is in good used condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind that I can see other than needing some new packing under the nut. It has 3/8 npt threads that are in great shape. It stands about 4 inches tall and mounts with two holes 1 3/4 inches apart on center. It is about 6 inches long with the drive coupler and the drive shaft is 9/16 diameter to fit the pulley of your choice. It has brass gears and turns nice and smoothly as it should with some bearing wear but should be quite servicable with some new packing. After that attention it should be ready to be used on an engine or put on the shelf awaiting your next project. The pictures tell the story. These water pumps, especially the brass ones, are extremely hard to find in the wild or even in the collector network so if you need one here is your chance. HEAD with VALVES for 2-1/2hp 3hp SANDWICH Gas Engine Hit & Miss Motor

Here a head for a 2-1/2hp and or a 3hp Sandwich gas engine. It is in pretty good shape. There are no cracks, breaks, or welds that I can see or know of. For questions 419 789 1159. 4 x 4′ mounting pattern. The raised center is about 4-3/16 in diameter. Just under 7-3/4 in overall diameter. 1-1/4 hole for carb. 1-1/4 pipe hole for muffler, I cleaned those threads with a tap and a pipe will screw in just fine. The valves feel good in their guides. They should probably lap in just fine but there is a possibility there will need recut just a little. There is a some gunk in the water jacket area but it should clean out just fine. No cracks, breaks, or welds I can see or know of. Very hard part to find. Heavy, weighs about 21 lbs before any box or packing material. Thanks for looking at this listing! This is a real nice original cast iron pulley for a hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine or other piece of machinery. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It has a 4 1/2 inch face and is about 4 1/2 inches in diameter inside the flanges. It is about 5 1/4 inches wide overall. It has a 1 1/4 inch keyed bore to fit on the crankshaft of the engine or the driveshaft of the implement. It also has a sleeve that looks like it is removable to reveal a 1 7/16 inch bore. These original cast iron pulleys are next to impossible to find in the wild or even at swap meets and they really set an engine off! They also make it possible to run belt driven implements with your engine. If you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration here’s your chance. Mounts to engine with 4 bolts 5 7/8 apart on center. 2 3/8 center to center carb mounting holes. The exhaust valve will move but is tight – spring looks good. The intake valve is loose and will need a new spring. The fuel saver spring could stand to be replaced. No breaks, cracks or welds that I see – some pitting along the bottom of the head due to age and use and a casting flaw by the carb mounting. Please feel free to call me with questions.
