It has an old repair on the bottom of the cylinder but looks like it would dress down a bit. It is missing the small magneto but could easily be run without it. Up for sale is a very nice restored Maytag Model 19, Antique hit miss Gas Engine. The flywheel has serial # 740515 stamped on it so it was in production Sept, 1936. Painted with original Maytag green automotive paint. The skids you see under my motors go with the engine. I have been restoring these engines for over 10 years. I also restore Maytag wringer washers and put Maytag motor’s on them as well. This engine was completely taken apart and SAND blasted BEAD blasted cleaned and painted the original Maytag green paint. I take a lot of pride in these motors as you can see and I like to do a little extra detailing such as the lettering and the numbers as you can see in the pictures. I think it makes the motor’s stand out better. This engine has all correct parts with no cracks or welds. The kick peddle will be removed for packing so you will need to put it back on. Lot of guys likes to copy my work so I have a trade mark that I can only tell that it is one that I had done. As you can see this engine is complete and not missing any parts such as the pulley, air filter and kill switch. It has new rings, condenser and spark plug and plug wire with new ends and new governor roller. I also honed out the Cylinder jug and carburetor is completely rebuilt with all new parts. This engine has been restored and freshly painted and the fuel tank and top plate was sealed so it will not rust again. I do not paint the flywheels like some people I just polish them up nice. This flywheel does have a little of pitting from sitting on stone or concrete but will not affect the performance. After putting it all back together I ran three tanks of fuel through it and it runs just fine. I like to run my engines that much so I know it will run great and help seat the rings a little for you. Then I put on a set of real nice WATER TRANSFER DECAL that I had made and sell. NOT those NASTY sticky fly by night cheap decals. The coil is good and has hot nice spark. I have a lot of people will send me a motor to restore for them as well. All it needs now is fuel and you can start it with your hand, it is that easy to start. I use foam spray to pack the motor and it takes a lot. If you have any questions please get in touch with me at 4one99792046. Please read below pictures. This washer is not part of this sale. Brand new fuel tank for the Stamped Associated 3-4 hp engine. This is a hi quality fuel tank made in the USA. It measures 10.5″ diameter and 6.25″ tall, not counting the mounting tabs on the ends. These tanks are ready to use and will certainly last a long time. We do recommend our Red Kote fuel/gas tank liner for coating the insides of the tanks prior to use.
