This is a cast iron magneto mounting bracket for an Ottawa hit and miss gas engine. It is in great condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of but is missing the advance/retard pin. The magneto mounts with two holes 1 1/8 inches apart on center and the mounting holes for the studs on the engine are 1 3/4 inches apart on center. These Ottawa parts are quite tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets and these brackets are often broken or repaired! If you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration or to replace your broken or repaired one this may be your chance. The pictures tell the story. It would surely beat making one! Here is a nice old shaft mount clutch pulley. I have seen this style clutch on old Associated and United gas engines. It is stuck but I think it would loosen up easily. In my experience clutch pulleys like this always come apart without to much work. If it were actually mounted on a shaft it would be easier to grab on to. Check out the pictures and see if you need it. 14″ Diameter, 6-1/2″ wide face. The mounting hole appears to be 2-5/16 (It could always be bored out or bushed).
