Faithful reproduction muffler for the 4-5hp Fluted Hopper Aermotor engines. Cast iron ends with two sheet metal sleeves sandwiched between. Copied from an original muffler. Measures about 6 inches in diameter and about 7 inches long. Correct Z part numbers and 1 1/2 npt pipe threads. Imperfections in the castings just like the originals. If you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration because yours is missing, broken, or repaired here it is. The pictures tell the story. When we set up to go to the show we are always thinking of something that we can hook to our engines so it will be turning something and make it extra special to look at. When tuned, these engines start easy and run great, but because of there design they smoke really good. Especially if tuned a little rich. Sometimes people tend to turn up there noses from all the smoke these great engines produce. So why not take advantage of what these engines do best and give them a reason to stay up wind and watch it run. People will tell others to go over and look at that muffler on that Maytag. You can watch it run on youtube. This is made of cast iron and nicely detailed. It has small holes on each corner of its mouth and big smoking nostrils. It is painted with hi temp.
