Hard to find multifuel carb. Needle valves and throttle shaft are free. I do not see any breaks or repairs. Comes with water tube. Mounting bolts are 2 3/4 on centers. Will need cleaned up. Most of my item are old and I will try to do my best to give an accurate description.

Nice older restoration Maytag early model 82 side exhaust antique stationary gas engine. Motor looks in very good condition considering it close to a hundred years old. Engine has spark but I have not ran it But should run with minimal work. No cracks or welds that I can see and looks like a very nice example. This offering is for a scarce version of the Twin cylinder model 72 D Maytag Multi-Motor engine. Its not a terribly early engine but its still early enough to have been painted all green as the engines of the first few months production were. A matter of collectable consideration is its 3 months from the last month of the green engine production. This one is in exceptionally nice original condition and looks largely unmolested. Some of the original decals are showing but very weakly. No Crack breaks or welds. It features the footed base and the earliest version of the tank top plate. This is proven by no reinforcing before or after the segment pin boss. See the close up of this area. The engine is loose and turns smoothly with good compression. The coil has continuity and it sparks well but it needs a condenser. This is one of those engines that is a prime example for preservation. It would retore well but it would destroy the originality. Serial number 853124 and backing plate # 44389 If you know how to read these numbers, These numbers are considered numbers matching, meaning the plate and the flywheel likely are original to each other. It is priced at what I consider fair price for a well preserved original condition engine prime for Preservation as found. The Camera Flash brightened up the green a lot. Its not that bright in person. It has not been cleaned only spray oiled. It should clean up a lot more with some cleaning.
