Carb for Nelson Brothers Hit Miss Engine. Carburetor is in good condition and ready to use. The part that slides into the head is 1 1/4. I apologize for any inconvenience. This is an original fuel mixer or carburetor for a Nelson Brothers or Nelson Brothers-built hit and miss gas engine. It may fit other models or sizes so please do your homework to be sure it fits your application. It is in good condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. The fuel needle is stuck and should come loose with some heat or electrolysis. It mounts with two holes 2 7/8 inches apart on center and the hole in the flange is 1 1/2 in diameter. I believe this is for a 7hp or possibly a 5hp but please measure your engine to be sure it works for your application. With a little effort this mixer should be ready to be used on an engine or put in your inventory as a spare. These original parts are quite tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets! If you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration or to replace your broken or repaired one here’s your chance. The pictures tell the story. It would surely beat making one! This is a very hard to find original cast iron muffler for a Fairbanks Morse H or Nelson Brothers hit and miss gas engine. It is in great condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind that I can see or know of. It has some age pitting but this really just gives it authentic character! It is about 5 inches in diameter. It has 1 1/4 npt threads and they are in great shape. This muffler is ready to be used on an engine. Mounts to engine with two holes 2 1/4 apart on center. 2″ x 1 1/2″ mounting for Webster “M” or “AMM” magneto. The spring is good. The moveable electrode shaft moves as it should.
