This is a real nice old Challenge #6 belt driven corn or feed grinder or grist mill. It is in excellent older restored condition and still displays rather nicely. There are no cracks, breaks, or repairs on it that I can see or know of. It was made by the Challenge Company in Batavia, Illinois, the same company that made the famous windmills, and measures about 34 inches tall. Everything seems to work as it should and it has a new belt on it for the shaker pan. You can used the adjustment knobs to set how coarse of find you’d like to grind your corn. It has very ornate cast iron legs and also the curved spoke flywheel and is very appealing to the eye! There is very little wear in the bearings and I believe it’s ready to go to work. The hopper was fabricated when the mill was restored and a nice job was done on it! It would be a fine addition to your early machinery collection or display and would look great running it with a gas engine at the shows! The pictures tell the story. It’s tough to find them this nice as they’re usually all worn out. I can deliver this to Coolspring, PA, Baraboo, WI, Portland, IN, or some other shows or auctions I attend later this year for free. This is a real nice original Pickering governor for an early gas prairie tractor or possibly a steam tractor. It is in excellent original condition and seems to have very little wear. It measures about 13 inches long overall. It mounts with 4 holes on a 1 11/16 square bolt pattern. I presume it is for a horizontal application as the oil cups are vertical when the governor is horizontal. The arm has a ball and socket for the carburetor linkage that looks to be a factory setup and not cobbled together. Everything seems to work as it should. It says “800 Rev” on the top brass ring. I believe this is a very hard to find governor and could possibly have been used on a variety of early tractors. These Pickering governors, especially the specialty ones, are extremely difficult to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you’ve been looking for one don’t miss your chance on this one. This is a very hard to find original sales catalog from International Harvester for their early gas tractors. It measures about 8 x 10 inches with 32 pages. It is in good condition for it’s age with some minor wear and very minor soiling. It has nice, embossed covers and overall it is nice and HEAVILY illustrated. It covers their type A, B, and C tractors in 12, 15, and 20 horsepower. In my opinion it is one of the nicest early tractor catalogs that IHC offered and is in great shape considering it’s around a century old! A few of the pages have loosened from the staples but they are all there and in good shape. There is also a small piece of the back cover missing near the fold. This catalog would be a fine addition to your early industrial library and would look especially nice displayed with your IHC tractor or machinery at the shows. These original catalogs don’t turn up very often as so many of them lost their battle with the wood stove back in the day so don’t miss your chance on this one. The pictures tell the story. This is an extremely hard to find original cast iron flat belt pulley and mounting stub shaft for a 6hp John Deere E hit and miss gas engine. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. The stub shaft is part number E2014R and the pulley has a 6 1/2 inch face and is 12 inches in diameter. It mounts to every other spoke of the flywheel with three holes 4 5/16 inches apart on center. Please measure your engine to be sure it works for your application. This is a real nice original Chandler belt driven piston type water pump. It is in excellent original condition as can be seen and retains nearly all of its original paint. There is almost no wear on it anywhere and all of the moving parts are nice and tight. There’s even paint down in the gear teeth and on the drive pulley yet! I highly doubt it was used very much at all. There are no cracks, breaks, or repairs on it that I can see or know of. It was made by the Chandler Pump Company in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and measures about 40 inches long and 16 1/2 inches tall at it’s tallest. It would be a fine addition to your early machinery collection or display and would look great running it with a gas engine at the shows! The pictures tell the story. It’s tough to find them this nice as they’re usually all worn out. This one is as close to NOS as you could hope to find and may need new leathers at the very most! This is a real nice original cast iron clutch pulley for a 2 1/2hp Mogul or 3hp Type M gas engine made by the International Harvester Company. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind except one repaired spoke on the carrier. A very nice job was done and it’s very tough to notice especially when it’s on an engine. Everything works as it should and there doesn’t seem to be very much wear anywhere on the pulley. It has new wooden shoes installed and is ready to go to work. The pulley has a 4 1/2 inch face and is 10 inches in diameter. It has a 1 3/4 inch bore to fit on the crankshaft. It is a factory pulley for 2 1/2hp Mogul or 3hp M as shown in the parts books. It will fit on other engines with a 1 3/4 inch crankshaft as well. Please measure your engine to be sure it works for your application. These original clutch pulleys are next to impossible to find in the wild or even at swap meets and they really set an engine off! This is an extremely hard to find original mixer or carburetor for a 10hp Fairbanks Morse Z gas engine. It is for the later spark plug fired engines. It is in excellent original used condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind except for on of the knobs on a fuel needle. Both fuel needles move as they should. This mixer mounts with two holes 2 13/16 inches apart on center. It has a remade choke plate on the bottom and needs a bowl cover for the top of it. It also needs a plunger for the pump but that’s just a piece of brass rod. It may fit other size engines like the 15hp. Please measure your engine to be sure it fits your application. I can’t ever remember seeing another mixer like this for sale so if you need one for your engine or just for a spare on the shelf here it is.
