This is an original Webster magneto ignitor bracket for a 2 1/2 – 14hp Hercules or Economy hit and miss gas engine. This is the heavier version with the cast ribs on the bottom. It is bracket number 303K26 and seems to be in excellent working condition. There are no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of other than the mounting holes are a bit larger which shouldn’t affect anything. It mounts with two holes 2 1/4 inches apart on center and the magneto mounts on a 2 x 2 inch hole pattern. The movable electrode moves nicely with very little wear and the points are in excellent condition. The advance/retard lever and roller move just as they should with some wear on the roller. It has the original priming cup on it. If you need an ignitor bracket like this for any reason here is a very nice one. The pictures tell the story. It would also make a great spare on the shelf.

This is a very nice original and VERY hard to find brass specialty valve for a Minneapolis steam traction engine. I don’t know exactly what engine it is for and may fit several so if you know please educate me. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know or. It is complete with the original star handle and drain. It appears to be a sediment trap of sorts. It has 3/4″ npt female threads in both places and has “29M in raised numbers on the body. Everything seems to move and function as it should. This is a very nice original example. If you need one for any reason this one should serve the purpose. It would also make a great spare on the shelf. These original brass specialty valves are almost impossible to find in. The wild or even at swap meets so don’t miss your chance one this one. VERY hard to find Splitdorf #30 rotary low tension magneto. Several applications including Fuller Johnson, and many others. It’s in great shape with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of. It turns over smoothly with excellent magnetic pull and puts out a very hot spark that will surely run your engine if set up properly. It mounts with two holes 2 inches apart on center and the threads are in great shape. It has the original name band on it which is almost always missing. It has no noticeable wear in the bearings that I can feel. It’s ready to go to work on an engine or would be a great spare on the shelf for the next time you need one as they just don’t come along very often! These Splitdorf 30 magnetos are quite tough to find especially in this condition so don’t miss your chance if you need one for any reason. Let the pictures be your guide. You’ll like it. I have for sale a nice 2 Gardner steam governor. I do not know this governors past history but I do know that it appears it’s been taken care of fairly well considering it’s age. No breaks, welds, or repairs that I can find. I’m no Steam expert but I suspect this governor wouldn’t need much work at all to be ready to be put to work. However, please see all 24 photos for the absolute best description and use your best judgment prior to purchasing. This is a real nice original cast iron pulley for a hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine or other piece of machinery. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind that I can see or know of. It has a 2 5/8 inch face and is 4 inches in diameter. It has a 1 1/4 inch bore to fit on the crankshaft of the engine or the driveshaft of the implement. There is plenty of meat in the hub to bore it out larger or it could be bushed smaller. The threads for the set screw are in great shape as is the 1/4 keyway. These original cast iron pulleys are next to impossible to find in the wild or even at swap meets and they really set an engine off! They also make it possible to run belt driven implements with your engine. If you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration here’s your chance. Here is a very nice cam gear for a 2hp Sparta Economy hit and miss engine. It is in excellent shape. It looks like someone may have redone the mounting pin because the gear fits perfectly on the pin and no slop can be felt. Check out the pictures and see if you need it. For questions 419 789 1159. Fits a 2hp Sparta Economy hit and miss engine. Part No P596 (I think, the last number is hard to read). The pin is 3/4 diameter where it goes into the engine block. 6400 wide at the teeth. This is a very hard to find original 3/4 Gardner steam engine governor. It could also work for a gas engine. It is in excellent, used condition just as found from an old collector’s estate. Everything moves as it should and it has very little wear on the the gears or on the shaft. All of the internals are in the steam chest. It stands about 17 inches tall and mounts with 3/4 npt threads that are in great shape as can be seen. The manual speed change lever works as it should. The screw type speed changer on the other side (I think it’s called the ball ranger) has been broken but I would think this would be a fairly easy piece to find from a parts governor or easily made. These original governors are almost impossible to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you need one for a project don’t miss your chance on this one.
