Nice unique “Never Fail” rod Oiler. I personally haven’t seen one quite like this one. I personally have not tried using this Oiler either. Sight glass is good and solid. Should polish up very nicely if that’s the desired look you’re wanting. Neat heavy brass piece for sure! 2 of the adjustment knobs are plastic. VIKING #6 Brass Oiler. Has a vent tube and check ball. 4″ H x 3 3/8″ D. Stands 9 1/2 tall tip to tip. The flip plug on top is missing. The chain that hooks onto the fill plug top is missing. This is a rather hard to find original cast iron cam gear or timing gear for a Gilson gas engine. It is in excellent used condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. There is some wear on the exhaust cam lobe but this shouldn’t affect anything. It is part number E-62 and measures about 5 3/16 inches in diameter and has a 5/8 inch face. It measures about 2 1/2 inch thick through the hole which is 1 inch in diameter. It has 40 teeth and they are in great shape as is the timing cam lobe. I believe this cam gear is for a 2 1/2hp engine but may fit other sizes as well. Please do your homework to be sure it fits your application. If you need a gear for your engine because yours is missing, broken, or repaired here’s your chance at a really nice one. It would also make a great spare on the shelf. These are extremely tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so don’t miss your chance on it. It would surely beat making one! The pictures tell the story. You’ll like it.
