For sale is an awesome antique drip oiler for hit & miss gas engines. This was made by Michigan Lubricator Co out of Detroit, MI. It carries the number 488. The cylinder has a few nicks (one may be a flea bite from production) others are like little nicks from over the years use – these should be able to be noticed in the photos as we tried to zero in on them. This is an original fuel mixer or carburetor for a Nelson Brothers or Nelson Brothers-built hit and miss gas engine. It may fit other models or sizes so please do your homework to be sure it fits your application. It is in good condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. The fuel needle is stuck and should come loose with some heat or electrolysis. It mounts with two holes 2 7/8 inches apart on center and the hole in the flange is 1 1/2 in diameter. I believe this is for a 7hp or possibly a 5hp but please measure your engine to be sure it works for your application. With a little effort this mixer should be ready to be used on an engine or put in your inventory as a spare. These original parts are quite tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets! If you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration or to replace your broken or repaired one here’s your chance. The pictures tell the story. It would surely beat making one! This is a very hard to find original brass pump/pre oiler for a steam engine made by The Felthouse Company in Buffalo, New York before Sherwood became a partner in the company. This is only the second one of these I’ve ever seen. It is about 3 5/8″ in diameter and about 9″ long overall. It has 3/8 npt pipe threads that are in great shape. It has some minor blemishes on the hex flats and wear overall but it has great original patina! It pumps as it should and is ready to be used on your project. It would be a great addition to your steam engine or oiler collection! These old pump oilers from obscure companies are quite tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets. This is a real nice original cast iron pulley for a York hit and miss gas engine. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It has a 4 1/4 inch face and is 6 inches in diameter. It mounts to every other spoke of the flywheel with three holes 6 1/4 inches apart on center. It likely fits on several sizes of York engines so please measure your engine to be sure it works for your application. It will fit on any engine with an adapter plate. It has some original green paint on it and would look great on an unrestored engine! These original cast iron pulleys are rather tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets and they really set an engine off! They also make it possible to run belt driven implements with your engine. If you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration here’s your chance. This is a very nice original International Harvester Type L magneto as used on several models of gas engines built by IHC including the Type M, 1hp Famous/Titan, and some others. It is in very nice original condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of. I checked it and it has a nice, hot spark so it should be ready to run an engine if it is set up properly. It has the original name band on it. The threads in both mounting holes are in great shape. Those holes are 2 inches apart on center. If you need an IHC Type L magneto for any reason this is a very nice one! It would also make a great spare on your shelf. This is an old plated brass oiler in good condition. It has a wood knob and lever that move freely. Knob and lever are original to piece, have original finish, fit tightly to piece, and are not cracked or repaired. Glass is original and without cracks or chips. Housing has several scratches and wear but without cracks, breaks, dents, or repairs. Nut on lever pivot may have been replaced. This is a very nice piece.
