This is a very large and impressive 2 Gardner steam engine governor. It could also work for a large gas engine. It is in excellent, used condition just as found from an old collector’s estate. Everything moves as it should and it has very little wear on the the gears. It has some mild wear on the shaft and should work fine just the way it is. All of the internals are in the steam chest. It stands about 23 inches tall and mounts with a flange on the bottom as can be seen. These large governors are almost impossible to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you need one for a project don’t miss your chance on this one. This is an original kerosene fuel mixer or carburetor for a small Stover throttling governor gas engine. It may fit other models or sizes so please do your homework to be sure it fits your application. It is in good condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. Both of the needles move as they should but it needs the throttle shaft freed up which shouldn’t be a real big project. It mounts with two holes 1 15/16 inches apart on center. Please measure your engine to be sure it works for your application. After just some minor effort this mixer should be ready to be used on an engine or put in your inventory as a spare. These original parts are quite tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets! If you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration or to replace your broken or repaired one here’s your chance. I believe to be complete and original marked Detroit lubricator. The glass is intact and you can see through it. The knobs all turn but one, the one that comes out diagonally. I only tried to move it gently with my hand not tools or wrenches were used. It is obvious that 2 of the handles have been replaced. Overall I think its in excellent condition. Again I did not clean it at all the hole patina thing! PLEASE ASK ANY QUESTIONS YOU MIGHT HAVE. I JUST WANT EVERYONE TO BE HAPPY! And HAVE with NO PROBLEMS! If it has gotten to bad I toss it like the 12 atlas tail stocks and the 3 milk crates of collets and all the other stuff. I can not do 30 or 60 days to be honest it doesnt make sense to me. Ding or mark on everything. If I can not then I must take pictures of everything. I will extend to you the following as my father did. I believe this is far to all of us if you have concerns please drop me a note. But I think and it is just me if everyone is on the same table it is all fair. PLEASE SEE MY OTHER AUCTIONS! This is an original cylinder head for a Sparta Economy hit and miss gas engine. I believe it is for a 4hp engine but please do your homework to be sure it will work for you. It mounts with 5 holes on an irregular bolt pattern. Most are 3 1/2 inches apart on center. The valves are stuck and the rocker arm has a very old repair. The head itself appears to be in good shape with no cracks, breaks, or repairs. With a little TLC this could be a very usable piece and it would certainly be easier than making one!
