This is a rather hard to find original Ideal 3/4 inch fuel mixer or carburetor for an old hit and miss gas engine. It is in good condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind except for a crack in the jam nut on the seat fitting. This jam nut really doesn’t do anything and could easily be removed. The needle moves as it should but the knob is is a bit loos on it which could easily be peened to be tight again. It has 3/4 inch pipe threads and they are in good shape. The 1/8 npt threads for the fuel line are also in great shape. The lower valve moves as it should and has little wear. It has a few dings and marks but every thing works as it should and I believe it is ready to be used on an engine. Old Ideal mixers are tough to find so if you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration or to put on the shelf with the rest of your engine parts here it is. The pictures tell the story. This is an original International Harvester Type L low tension magneto for an old engine. It was factory equipment on the IHC Type M engines in the 1 1/2 and 3hp sizes. It was also used on the 1hp Famous/Titan and Titan Jr engines. It has some issues with the mounting base but I think with a little patience and creativity it would be a very nice magneto! The bearings have almost no noticeable wear and it turns over very smoothly with good magnetic pull. The magneto has an original gear on it for a 3hp Type M along with the dust shield which is a bit dented up but could easily be straightened and also has the original name band. The gear could be swapped out for the correct gear for your engine if you so choose. The magnets have just been charged and it puts out a good, hot, blue spark that will surely run an engine if it is set up properly. These original IHC Type L magnetos are getting tougher to find every day so if you’ve been looking for one don’t miss your chance on this one. It would also make a great spare on the shelf. This is a real nice original WIco EK magneto bracket for a Nelson Brothers hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind except for the advance/retard tab which appears to have been homemade. I’m sure it works as it should but could be made a little less crude. The trip finger is stuck on the shoulder bolt but I’m sure as greasy is this was before I cleaned it that it would free right up with a little heat. It has some decent original gray paint on it. I believe it is from a Model T Nelson Brothers or Little Jumbo engine but may fit other Nelson Brothers or Nelson Brothers built engines. It mounts with two holes 2 5/8 inches apart on center. These original magneto brackets are rather tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets and many of them are broken or repaired. If you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration here’s your chance. The pictures tell the story. You won’t be disappointed in any way. Here’s a VERY RARE oiler. This is a #1 Victor Swingtop made by Lunkenheimer Cincinnati Ohio. This is a very rare style and size of oiler. I’ve had hundreds of oilers through the years, but hardly any Swingtop Victors. This one is in very nice shape & would make a great showpiece on an engine or on the shelf. The swing arm and needle are in great shape and work nicely. Beautiful golden color – has not been polished, just great original patina. There are no wrench marks, damage, cracks, or blemishes of any kind that I can see. About as nice of original oiler as you’ll ever find! Here is a real nice original cast iron magneto gear for a Lauson Frost King Jr or Alpha Jr hit and miss gas engine. It measures about 3 inches in diameter with a 1/2 inch face. It has a 3/8 inch hole for the magneto armature shaft and the keyway is in great shape. It has 22 teeth and they are in great shape. They have very little noticeable wear if any at all. This gear has no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind and is ready to be put to work on an engine. These original gears are VERY difficult to find and it would certainly be easier than making one!
