Here are a very rare pair of No. 5 Powell Signal Embossed Glass Oilers. They are in pretty good shape but are not perfect. One has a slight chip at the bottom of the glass but that would be extremely easy to seal up with a little silicone. They both do not have the correct little pins for the flippers but those are just little pieces of brass that would be easy to insert. Check out the pictures and see if you need them. For questions 419 789 1159. The main glasses are about 2-31/32 in diameter. They are about 8-1/2 tall with the flippers up. One has a small chip at the bottom of the main glass. The “LUNKENHEIMER” carburetor came off a Vaughn horizontal hit-miss motor. It was used with a large saw blade for trimming-cutting lumber type operation. Not being familiar with hit miss-motors, I do not know what condition to say the carburetor is in. The inside diameter across from thread to thread is 3/4″, if that helps and is marked “L. ” near one opening, and “LUNKENHEIMER two times. The dial is numbered 1 thru 8 and appears to operate very smoothly. Included are several oilers and a “Valvespout” hand oil can manufactured by Continental Arms Corp. One oiler is a “LUNKENHEIMER” No. 1 1/2 and appears to be in good working condition. The other oiler is an “OIL-RITE” 1 1/2″ inches in diameter and 4 1/2″ inches in length and is in good working condition. The three other “OIL-RITE” oilers are damaged and not usable. The threaded ends are broken off two oilers, and one oiler is bent. They are only usable for their many still good parts. The grease cup is a POWEL MONGUL #2 made of brass with nice knurling around the cap edge. Antique Steam Engine Oilers. Hit And Miss Oilers. Great set of brass antique Oilers. These are manufactured by ohio injector Co. In very very nice condition. Valve’s function smooth and are tight. No slop or sticky parts they turn smooth and feel like the seals and seats are good condition. Inside needs cleaning from sum corrosion but they are in usable condition. Top seals tight thread are nice. Just need cleaning up and polishing they will look fabulous no big dents. Minor small nicks and scratches but they are original not cleaned. Please see photos 8 tall. This is a old Lunkenheimer Banner no 3 oiler. The tread is 1/2 NPT. It is used and has some wrench marks and scratches. There was a price sticker over the Banner part and still needs some cleaning as you can see in the pics. All the valves turn like they are suppose to but may need new seals or packing. I have been asked to help sell a large collection of brass oilers, lubricators, grease cups, small gauges and other assorted brass items. Please check back often as I will be listing items several times each week. Both are Lunkenheimer Paragon, No. 2 with the Jan 1902 patent date on the top. Both have good reservoir and sight glass, both have ball check valves and breather pipes and both have the 1905 patent date on the hex, visible in the first photo. The shinny one on the left has a replaced stop screw for the fill cover. The darker one on the right – is complete except for the brake finger. Noting the threaded shaft that the snap lever screws onto is bent, see 1st and 3rd photos. Both heavy at over a pound each. Offered With NO RESERVE. Be Sure To Take A Look At My Other Steam.
