Original head removed from a 1HP Rock island built engine, I believe it’s the same head he 1 1/2HP models used as well but please measure your engine before purchasing!!! Valves move freely and look very usable! Definitely need lapped/seated in before installing! Center to center head mounting bolt hole spacing is 3 1/8. Will need new exhaust and intake springs. Couple of very neat new old stock John Deere items!! Packages are in decent shape considering the age! I would like to think the next owner of these items will use them as display use only. See pictures for the absolute best description! Rocker arm fits 1 1/2HP. The spring I believe fits the 1 1/2 and 3hp models. Neat old lubricator for parts or restore! Sight glass is broken! What you see is what I have! The valves are not stuck. The reservoir looks to be “bulged” I do not know if it’s it is supposed to be that way? Possibly maybe it looks that way from being froze with water in it? I have circled a few questionable areas with a blue marker, the areas look to be “stressed” and may possibly leak under pressure. I cannot prove that though. Just wanting to give you the best description possible on what to expect! Please see pictures for the absolute best description!

Turns over but is stiff! What you see is what I have. Should be a great candidate for a rebuild. Threads on the shaft look solid. Magneto mounting holes are solid and measure 2 apart on centers. Magnets look to be in good shape with no cracks. Please see all pictures for the absolute best description! Keep In mind this item is over 100 years old and is not new anymore.
