This is an original cast iron piston and rod for a John Lauson or Alpha DeLaval Model W 2 1/2hp hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. The rod is part number WA25. The assembly is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. The wrist pin seems to have some mild wear. The connecting rod bearing looks to be in excellent condition. The piston is 4 inches in diameter. Please measure your engine to be sure it works for your application. It will need a wrist pin set screw to be complete. These original Lauson parts are exceedingly tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets! If you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration or to replace your broken or repaired one here’s your chance. The pictures tell the story. Here is a very nice piston for a R&V gas engine. It came out of a 2hp BL engine. Seems to be in great shape and ready to use. The rings are a little sticky but not stuck tight, it is missing the ring around the wrist pin area. Please take a look at the pictures and see if you need it. The wrist pin is 1-1/16″ in diameter, it is about 2-5/8″ from the head of the piston. Head of piston is slightly domed. Missing ring around the wrist pin area. No cracks, breaks, welds. Off a 2hp BL R&V engine. For questions 419 789 1159. Most items will go out faster though. I have many good parts and pieces I will be listing in the next few months. I try to do a very good job of listing everything I sell in a very accurate manner to explain all the good and bad points with the pictures and in the description. So if someone doesn’t pay I will ban them from my listings and also tell all my friends who also sell engine parts on here who to watch out for. If you haven’t caught on this is supposed to be mildly funny but yet serious at the same time. If you decide you don’t want it or find another one cheaper you I won’t take it back. Piston and Connecting Rod for 3 1/2. HP – 4HP Hercules / Economy / Jaeger. Piston and rod are in good condition and ready to use. 19 1/2 overall length. 4 1/8 diameter piston. 1 5/8 diameter crankshaft.
