Here is a Coldwell Cub lawnmower engine. There are no CBWs in the casting that I can see. The engine turns over and has good compression. There is a flat spot in the flywheel that rubs upon rotation. I believe this is from the late 20′s to early 30′s. Please view pictures for best description. It is dirty, oily and could use a good cleaning. See my other listings for water pump jacks. Manufactured in Bordentown NJ. Measures 2 0″ high x 16″ long x 20 W at furthest points. Motor is stuck and does not turn over. I have not tried to free this as I did not want to damage anything. I did pull the head and inspect the cylinder/piston. There is surface rust on the cylinder/piston. The Carburetor is The Schebler and Oiler is The Lunkinheimer and have 1902 Patent Dates. This motor is for a serious collector/restorer and will need a complete overhaul of bearings, gaskets, etc. Motor will be professionally packaged/insured. This engine is approximately 30 1/2 inches tall, 22 inches wide, and 20 inches deep. The flywheel is approximately 17 3/4 inch diameter and contains a foldup cranking handle. It has a pancake type muffler. This engine is vertical with the cast water jacket above and around the head. In the pictures, AS IS. We are downsizing and are reducing those projects that I will never get around to doing. We are located in south central Illinois, five (5) miles south of Flora, IL 62839.
